Needs Help: Vile Villain Saccharine Show

I thought 02's appearance in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards is supposed to be a spoiler.

I don't know what to suggest.

No idea if it actually is a spoiler, but if it is, it should be pulled.

02's the True Final Boss of the game that can only be fought with all of the crystals and whose existence is only revealed when you fight him.

Just from what I've heard about the Lich in Adventure Time, he would seem to fit...no idea what to suggest, though.

What about Lord Hater from Wander Over Yonder? The show is already an affectionate parody of most 60s animated shows, almost all of which had villains, like Lord Hater, who were this trope. What I'm trying to say is that Lord Hater was designed to BE this trope.

8.1 is the best so far, due to cartoony dog, candy castle, and creepy evil looking undead villain.

The darkness doesn't look very saccharine to me...

I disagree that the current pic is a spoiler. Almost every single Kirby game ends with an unforeseen Eldritch Abomination boss, so that's nothing new and falls under It Was His Sled (edit: as stated on this trope page, various Kirby games have Dark Matter, Marx, Necrodeus, Drawcia Soul, and Nightmare; they're all examples of this trope).

It's a good pic so let's put it back.

Personally, I don't really like the two-panel format, because it doesn't really illustrate that the evil monster is actually from the same show as the first panel.

My current vote is for 10.

Try telling that to people who spoilered all of 02's mentions on Kirby 64.

That's Miracle Matter and not 02, but does get the point across, as Miracle Matter's said game's Disk-One Final Boss.

I like 10 also, but worry the details will be hard to make out when shrunk. I am sure that would be a problem with 8.

Let's see how 10 looks at wiki size.

Very cluttered.

It's a good illustration, but I have to agree with , it's a little too cluttered at wiki size to make for a good page pic.

Whipped this up. Yeah we have the top showing us cute ponies and the bottom showing the cute ponies terrorized by Chrysalis.

I can't really see the "vileness" of the villain though, except that it's darker than the rest of the cast...

The darker creatures in the bottom panel appear to be either chasing the ponies or herding them like the Death Eaters did with the Hogwarts students at the start of DH pt. 2, while the black pony oversees the whole thing. That, plus the undead appearance of Chrysalis and the diseased-looking ground, overall makes it work well enough for me to give it a pending something else.

I'll agree with Willbyr's logic, although a separator between the upper and lover pic would be desirable.

I watched the episode, and frankly, she doesn't look that menacing compared to the ponies.

Now, if you show her body, that's the whole another story.
