One of my really close friends really kept pushing for me and her best friend to date and one day get married and have lots of kids and have a happy life. Then I actually did date her and she started freaking out that I was dating her, especially since I soon enough discovered that I'm not into her but continued dating her anyway because I was having fun regardless, and then that led to us not being friends anymore. I don't really talk to either of them anymore.
And with that, the thread is dead, long live the thread!
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. It actually happened pretty recently with two of my male teachers (despite the fact that they were both married to women and had a 10+ year [[[[Squick]] age difference)]]
- Probably because they both happened to be kind of metrosexual, have obscene amounts of Ho Yay, one of them happens to be European which explains a lot of that, but it got to the point where it wasn't just the residential Yaoi Fangirls who were noticing it.
- We later ended up finding out that they knew that everyone thought they were a couple, but, because they don't think anything is wrong with that, really don't care. One of them essentially told us that they're open about it to show that they have nothing to hide and being really defensive about it proves your guiltiness more than anything.

Has anyone here ended up in a situation where you or someone you knew ended up in a situation where there were several people hoping you would hook up with a particular person? Feel free to tell a story about it.
