See, this is making me think of The Leet World, where it was fairly comedic but got pretty serious later on.

I think the reason we're all predicting this getting dark is because this season of Red Vs Blue is Lighter and Softer.

I think I can see this getting darker in a season 2 story arc.

GCR: Noooo, because we've gotten a good enough look at this world to know that such a thing is likely.

The Grimm will inevitably return. By that point, I'm guessing, RWBY will hit Darker and Edgier.

It's possible Rwbi take place prior comming of Grim whith it as And the Adventure Continues ending.

In a very noob move, she still doesn't have an avatar yet.

The lack of avatar implies to me that it's just something some random person made.

Blake going to beacon is result of Recruiting the Criminal, either legaly or coverd by Oz

Alternatively

She originaly just didn't have right to attend but was recruted by Oz anyway

Plus, Yang actually replied to her via Twitter, which is why I said "noob move". She needs to bust out an avatar soon.

Speaking of Ruby, her introduction mirrors that of Avatar Korra (when she first enters Republic City). An upbeat, Badass Action Girl takes down a gang of Superpowered Mooks before getting into trouble with what amounts to the law, and then quickly becomes an ally of said law enforcers? Not hard to miss.

• That teaser Kerry released a while ago with Ruby looking around fretfully and Weiss giving her the bitch face is in the next episode.

• Ruby’s favorite food is strawberries.

• Green shirt bro next to Jaune in the intro will debut in episode 4.

• The only difference between the crystal and powder form of Dust is that the crystal form is weaker. The way that dust works is a mix between fuel, batteries, and personal energy.

• Monty’s planning on releasing the turnaround models for every character.

Who else is expecting this series to become a Steam exclusive game?

Huh, so Dust actually isn't magic. It actually has pseudo-scientific properties. Sweet.

RWBY is straight up Science Fantasy.

Hmmm.... I say it'll be during a training exercise, and Weiss will win versus Ruby on account of being more "refined" than Ruby as a fighter.

From picture It seems to me they will be teamed (and loose due zero teamwork).

I'm hearing in the You Tube page for Episode 1 that people think Ruby and/or Yang sound too high pitched for their age.

Does anyone else agree or disagree? I disagree. I think they sound older than their age. Blake especially. Jaune sounds younger, too.

There are some really funny scenes in this one. Yang's deadpan "Oh my god, you really exploded." was hilarious.
