Poor Image: Hyperspace Arsenal

The current page image isn't really indicative of a true Hyperspace Arsenal. I suggest the Minecraft picture ( http://www.halolz.com/2011/10/22/backpack-filled-with-cobblestone/ ) since it shows in real world terms how huge video game inventories can be.

That image does need some rewriting before it can replace the current.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested...not really impressed with the Minecraft pic.

Would recommend a video game pause screen that shows a ludicrous inventory (clothes, medkits/potions/theworks) and then a shot of how it looks on the avatar..... Fable is pretty funny about this; you can one of EACH of the massive weapons the game makes available, but you only ever see a single sword and a single bow or crossbow that Sticks to the Back

I think current's fine.

Agreed, current one has a picture of a galaxy in their pocket. Along with the in-picture text it is representative of the trope enough.

It doesn't have to be replaced by the Minecraft picture, I'd just prefer the page image to be an actual videogame inventory, or a better representation of how bottomless your "pockets" really are.

I'm just wondering whether, perhaps, a screenshot of the player inventory in Neverwinter Nights 1 might qualify as a better image.

You can carry heaps of stuff on one page, including up to fifteen "bags of holding" (where could you physically carry them, since they can't stack inside each other?) and there are six identical pages of inventory (which could be pointed out in the image text).

If others think that would be a good page image for Hyperspace Arsenal, I'll undertake to create, upload and link it.

Possible caption: The top half is just what he's wearing or carrying in his hands. The bottom half is inventory and there's another five pages of that. Where does he put it all?

Or maybe: He can carry 60 complete sets of heavy armor not including the one he's wearing. Where does he put it all?

Suggestion and other suggestion◊. Possibly contrast with an in-game sprite that of course shows none of this stuff.

I like the second one. Paired with a lampshading caption and it would be comedy gold.

I agree with that. Maybe "Forget how he packs all that away - how does the candle not set off the bombs?"

He packs the hammer and gemstones in between them, of course.

Let's get this taken care of before the clock runs out tonight. The caption is just a suggestion.

By the way, the example list is getting way too long. They should be organized into video game category folders. Where can I go to start a discussion on that?

If we're good with the Link pic as a replacement, I can whip up a crowner for captions.

It's a picture of a guy with a big pile of stuff in front of him. I don't see any indication that he's supposed to be carrying the stuff around with him.

I love how he has the raft among all the items.

Also: he has multiple hearts. That timelord theory is looking pretty solid.

That's the whole point of the caption lampshading him needing something to carry all that.

Good call. I hadn't even thought of that one.
I know that images need context, but... come on! Link's sword is NOT enough.
