Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Angry White Man, though not recently created, lacks an example section, and probably never had a YKTTW. Worse, the description mostly rambles on about Real Life politics, and makes some dubious historical assertions.

Back from today's page typing run. Sidenote: Do we have a horror fan out there? I've seen plenty of subpages for horror stuff being created.
Anyhow, new bad pages: Disney Junior, Henry Hugglemonster, Cosmic Terra Commentaries and Zhenra Zeyro.
Marc Forster, Scooby Doo Night Of 100 Frights and The Julekalender need to be cutlisted once they've been moved to their correct namespace.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCut the first four, move the second three.
Cutlisted these pages. Also, someone created Krav Maga just some minutes ago. They've asked for help on the discussion page but I am not quite sure I can provide it without sounding terse in the process.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAt the very least, that should go under UsefulNotes/.
Did that, and I will PM the creator. Anyone up for cutlisting the Main/ page before it picks up more inbounds?

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI turned Krav Maga into a redirect instead. I doubt there will be any naming conflicts with a trope.
That is not the only problem.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUnknown Assailant is currently a stub with only two examples, and seems to have been launched without a YKTTW. Aside from being badly written (using first-person for instance) and vaguely defined, it also isn't sure whether it is an Omnipresent Trope or whether it is worthwhile to add examples. 8 articles currently link to it.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"That one goes back to Mar 2011.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHm... How far back does this have authority over? I'd say send to YKTTW, but I'm not sure if that would need a TRS, considering its age.
It is worth nothing that the Cutlist Screen now says: Please stop listing "ghosts" and Main redirects to works where there is no title collision.
That is exactly why I ask not to make unnecessary redirects. Like the one you made a few posts above.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUnwitting Muggle Friend got launched again.
This time it has enough examples, but the issues about whether or not it's already covered are not addressed, the description is still an example as thesis, and the description still needs help. And it had one hat.
I'm not disagreeing that it's a trope, but I do believe it's covered by Locked Out of the Loop.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Hmm, looking at the time stamps I see the launcher waited quite a bit before launching. Why weren't the concerns addressed in the YKTTW?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanProbably because YKTTW is generally bad for addressing description stuff unless the OP or another poster aggressively pushes for it. And the OP also has to be patient about waiting to launch until ready, which this OP doesn't seem to be.
At this point, I'm not sure if it would be better to unlaunch it yet again (given that it didn't have hats and there were still unresolved issues) or to send it to TRS, which is much better equipped to deal with the question of overlap. (I think that they're distinct tropes; if they're not, Locked Out of the Loop needs a dramatic description overhaul.)
Beast Boy and Pettson And Findus. Stub articles (Without tropes). Agree on cutlisting?
Also Locked Out of the Loop and Unwitting Muggle Friend are about the hero and their friends being oblivious respectively.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanL Oot L says it's about "The Hero" but the quote, the examples, and the related tropes all seem to just mean "hero" as a heroic character, not as The Hero.
Either way, L Oot L does need some fixing.

Somebody created O Ring Orifice without YKTTW. — I am pretty sure it is the restoration of a page cut under the new content policy.
(edit) Thanks. I just went to Ask The Tropers, but I saw Oberoniss had already brought it up.

Let's just say and leave it at that.Yes. I am currently reporting it in ATT and Content Policy discussion.
