+1 to pull, nothing there indicating the trope.
Pull it.
Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out. There's an example in the film, but that's not what the image is about. Pull.
Check out my fanfiction!Nothing to suggest hacking at all. Pull.
While we're here, should we be thinking of alternatives? Some character at a computer, maybe?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Pulled. I don't have a suggestion for a replacement, but it should be possible.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. That's more A.I. Is a Crapshoot than Playful Hacker.

Not even that - it's more Everything Is Online.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI like the first picture.
If, or if not, Ed would be recognized as a hacker*, is the important thing.
The first one suggests 'hacker' to me. (It's the VR goggles.)

Looks good.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...That's what I'm talking about!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Good enough. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no?
I really feel like there should be a good one, but i can't think of one at the moment. I'll come back later.
...or, less sillily...
You are feeling sleepy... You are now under my control...
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableWhen the firewall's away, Radical Edward will play.
Yeah, brains not working too good.
I like that.
I forgot to star this one...anyone else?
I thought of "Computer magic - for children!" (Or whatever fits the last part)
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
If it wasn't for me knowing its source thanks to Pop-Cultural Osmosis, I wouldn't even understand how a black screen with Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick games relates to hackers at all. I think it needs to be pulled.
