Whoa. I wasn't expecting the sequel to take place that long thereafter. And yeah, Hiccup looks all badass now! I wonder if this a wise move? they seem to be going for an older audience now...
Lemme guess, there's another Green Death out there looking for revenge?
Bonus points if it's even bigger than the last one.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I think because some of what happens in the intervening years are going to be detailed in the TV series.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.Actually one of the pics states the main plotline.
Basically They find the Dragon's homeland but the wild dragons are being hunted down by evil Monster Hunter-esqe Dragon Hunters, and Hiccup and co must stop them.
I hope there's a bit more to it than that. Seeing as the filmmakers have been building this up as an Epic Movie that will do for the original what Empire Strikes Back did for A New Hope, then having such a simple premise would feel like a letdown.
Looking for some stories?Looks like Dreamworks took the images in the other link down. here's most of them.
Something is not right with Astrid's face. I can't unsee the "Derp" look...
is that a fire sword? geez, hiccup got kinda badass.
Got kinda badass? In the first movie the kid kicked the ass of a for-all-intents-and-purposes Kaiju with Toothless. Then there's all his moments in the series. This is just a natural consequence of that.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.Agree with that. Hiccup started on the road to badassness when he downed a Night Fury with a projectile from a weapon he made single-handedly and only went on from there.
I reckon making pals with the same Night Fury less than halfway through the film sorta sealed that deal, eh?
As I write, I am listening to the entire soundtrack to the first film. Hope the one for the second one is as good if not better.
Has the redhead been sacrificed at the Alter of True Luv already?
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.php...Wow, not entirely sure what to think of that. I like the new Hiccup, but I certainly didn't expect the next one to be so far in the future... An adult Hiccup. Never would have called it. :P Still, I'm optimistic about this one.
Oh definitely do want.
Adult Hiccup, huh. I like this.

People are mirrors. If you smile, a smile will be reflected.Have to wonder whether the events of Riders/Defenders of Berk will be referenced, if not play a role in the movie.

Some additional details on the movie. Including the suggestion of an End of an Age conclusion to both the film trilogy and the books
A person with octopus tentacles coming out of their head? Sounds pretty screwed up.
IIRC, the book series is also going to end with Hiccup becoming king of the Vikings. Maybe they'll work that in as well.
I'm not quite sure how the flame sword is supposed to work, though.

Looking for some stories?Definitely looking forward to this.
I'm pleasantly surprised that they're skipping ahead 5 years later too.
I should probably get started on the TV Show now.
New magazine article showing a new image.◊

Well, darn my dishes. Hiccup got kinda handsome!

Some early concept art/storyboards have been released.
The movie will take place 5 years later and center around a 20 year-old Hiccup.
Currently set for release June 2014.
