Halloween Thread

normally quite the contrary really. I love the holiday and it's my best friend favorite holiday to. I just miss her so much I can't get in the spirit.

That's no reason to skip out this year! If anything you should party harder to make up for missing friends.

Probably not getting to one of the Halloween shows I planned on for tomorrow due to the whole Sandy thing. Instead I'll likely have a horror movie marathon at home.

My personal horror movie marathon (if you can really call it a marathon) is going to consist of Poltergeist, Insidious, John Carpenter's The Thing, and I think another one that I can't remember. I haven't seen any of them and my mom (who I'm watching the marathon with) has only seen Poltergeist (and possibly the one I'm not remembering). I wanted to include Nightmare Before Christmas (even though it's not a horror movie), but unfortunately they don't have it on Netflix.

Also, I've changed my avatar to fit the holiday spirit.

Any good recent halloweens to recommend? I don't want to see the same movies I've already seen several times. Hi by the way.

I feel like buying a Santa Costume for Halloween... it's quite cost effective because I can wear it around Christmas too.

Someday I'll live in a neighborhood with a lot of trick or treaters. And when I do, I'll have four or five different tiers of treats, and every time I get a knock on the door, I'll roll a d20.

• If I roll a 1, they get a pack of raisins.
• If I roll a 20, they get three full-size candy bars tied together with ribbon.
• If it's in the upper half, they get a handful of fun-size chocolate bars.
• If it's in the lower half, a handful of twizzlers, jolly ranchers, and milk duds.

Honestly, Halloween's one of my favorite holidays, just think it's among the most creative. Oddly enough, it seems that magic and fantasy are often associated with this holiday(well witches are a staple it seems). I guess it's partly why I like Castlevania.

Yea, im dressing up as Commander Shepard for the holidays...my college does a big thing where we dress up and parade around...

But my mid term in English is the same day So its Shepard trying to get by in college

No costume parties to go to, and I live in the boonies, so no trick or treaters.

I think I'll just gorge myself on bulk holiday candy.

I'm goin' as Sadako tomorrow. Moony's too pussy to dress up for school, but it's my favourite part of the holiday. Then tomorrow night I'll go as a witch; the cloak'll fit over my coat, so I don't have to be cold.

Wearing this costume since it's both warm and visually striking. I might change into Belle from Beauty And The Beast for passing out candy.
