I recommend against GG. Just look at what they did with Hidan no Aria. Pure bullshit.
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...gg is fine, but admittedly they're a wild card. They're good subbers for shows they like, and trolls for the ones they don't. So basically you have to know which shows they won't mess up. Or more practically, just pick another subber. That isn't Hadena.
For this show, though, go with UTW.
Anyway, on to the first episode: it's adorable! And funny. The visuals are nice too. This is going to be one of my feel-good shows for this season.
This is not Haruhi, okay. -_-
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Exactly. It's Another made into Haruhi.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I GET IT!! Every extravagant girl is Haruhi expy! Why I didn't noticed it before!

I honestly don't see the Haruhi(show)-ness of anything in here.
Not even the protagonist being "just like Kyon", mainly since Kyon is bored as shit about his life before meeting weird people while Yuuta is trying to live a normal life because the past weirdness of being a chuuni is too grating on him.
And "Haruhi without her powers" is something I would just think of as "just a bitch who is looking for interestingness in others" and definitely someone that wouldn't just let some other guy whack her head that many times. I don't think of Rikka as being similar to Fuuko (I'm assuming that we mean CLANNAD Fuuko here because Kyo Ani) aside from the obvious basic of "young person that is enthusiastic" but then I hardly remember anything about Fuuko and her arc/route anyway due to lack of interest.
Being at the Heavens, control the land. Being at the Earth, remove its keystones. And lay bare the scarlet hearts of man!Again, she's not Haruhi, she's more like Hououin Kyouma (Or Okabe Rintarou) if he was a character in K-On. And female.
That being said, I'd say she has more in common with Mikuru. Not personality wise, but Mikuru ultimately helped popularize "moe." If we're lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you feel about moe characters), our lovable Chuuni shall spread the love of Chuuni across the animesphere!

If I had to compare Rikka to anyone, she's like Erio, though not quite as socially crippled (and obviously, no futon).
I was actually reminded more of Haruhi when I saw Tomo from the side, when she started to count, than anything else in the show.
Check out my fanfiction! She reminds me more of the protagonist of Jinrui Wa Suitai Shimashita than Haruhi...but even then, not so much.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I enjoyed the 1st episode... gonna follow this show
as it was already said somewhen, she reminded me of Erio, as if she was delluded about being a magic wielding Misaki, instead of an alien. I just hope this one don't end up un-cloudcuckoolader-fied in the 3rd episode, then spending the rest of the series as just moe material, while other characters keep blabbing about something vaguely philosophical about... something... okay, right now my comment derailed into complaining about other show...
back on topic, this show looks pretty interesting, the story seems solid enough for the "lighthearted comedy of the season" position, and, hey! the Konami Code!
There's no Part 1, I just thought it was funny at the time. She remind me Kuroneko a bit. Ok they are completely different, but with exception of that Chūnibyō thingy...
And here I was thinking about Kobato...
Check out my fanfiction!Bottom line: I just want Chuunibyou to become the new moe.
Kobato seems pretty close, yeah.
She's in 8th grade too IIRC.
Being at the Heavens, control the land. Being at the Earth, remove its keystones. And lay bare the scarlet hearts of man!so after seeing post #30 ("Like something a chuuni would use!!") i was reminded of this pixiv tag dictionary entry i saw a while back:
http://en.dic.pixiv.net/a/Chuunibyou
apparently chuu2 is either a wannabe delinquent, a hipster, or the "evil eye" type (which Rikka is, pretty much)
weaponizing Dungeon Fighter Online elitism since 2018TBH, Chuunibyou as it's been used in anime lately mostly refers to the evil eye types.
Hououin Kyouma (aka Okabe Rintarou) is an example of a main chcaracter that's chuuni.
Steins;Gate (well, the fansub I watched and the game translation I used) just translated it as "hipster bullshit" in the same way that Haruhi originally translated moe as "turn ons" as I recall.

You're starting to become slightly broken record-like, Tomu.
Anyone know if this is being simulcast/has official subs?
Sentai Filmworks has licensed it and supposedly has plans to show it on The Anime Network, although...
1. You would need a Premium subscription to watch anything past the 1st episode
2. The site is currently having problems with recognizing anyone buying a Premium subscription
3. Due to issues possibly due to their airing To-LOVE-Ru Darkness before the Japanese broadcast, we still have no news on when they will actually start putting up episodes of this show...
Don't you call me a broken record! Don't you call me a broken record! Don't you call me a broken record!
No, he's starting to sound like he's stuck in a time loop.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Been there done that.
Tomu @ 68:
"Turn-on" for moe also appeared in Lucky Star's official dub, but I don't really agree with that. Being loveable doesn't necessarily turn someone on.

Again-for me, it's not that they're bad at translating, it's that the tend to err on the side of high profanity. Had that problem with Baka to Test.
