Pokémon - The Lost World (A PMD-inspired RP)

No matter how talkative you are, though, you still have to wait ten minutes between posts, right?

Shame we can only have one character, I had the perfect partner for my character, oh well:

• Name: Sean Raymond
• Age: 20
• Gender: ♂
• Pokémon: Axew
• Human Appearance: Around 1.70m tall, short brown hair and green eyes, he is wearing green contact lenses though.
• Pokémon Appearance: He looks like a regular Axew, but he is wearing a little red scarf, he still uses the lenses, so he ends being a green eyed Axew.
• Skills: He's a really good chef and is a fast learner, he knows quite a bit of Pokémon too and is a rather good strategist because of that.
• Personality: He's a rather quiet guy and prefers to not take action in battle and stay in the sidelines, due to being a bit of a coward, he tries to look brave though, he normally doesn't talk to others due to not having much to talk about, so he only talks when somebody goes to talk with him and even then he is quiet, bordering on The Voiceless on occasion. Neverthless he really cares about the well-being of his friends and allies, and when it's needed, he will fight for them.
• History: Sean is quite a loner, due to having a hard time approaching people because he is always in his room either watching TV or playing games and because of that he doesn't know much about the world. In his family he is not very active, his parents and sister love him and he loves them, but he prefered to be left alone most of the time, he learned to cook with his mother due to him often being left alone at home, and cooking became his hobby with time.

DBL, I'm sorry I just realised I totally blanked you. When you finish yer SU, just throw a post up here to tell me so I remember to look back on it.

I'm gonna have a sleep on this by the by, but if you guys really want multiple PCs, I've already said I might allow two (in a bit of a roundabout way), so you guys tell me what you think.

I got a Munchlax... Am I really that lazy?

• Name: Neil Mckenzie
• Age: 18
• Gender: ♂
• Pokémon: Munchlax
• Human Appearance: Short and rather thin, standing at 5'0. His dark hair tends to droop naturally and on his hazel eyes are a pair of circular lensed glasses.
• Pokémon Appearance: A Munchlax with a pair of glasses that also function as Goggle Specs.
• Skills: Was a gamer back in the Human World, but didn't really play Pokémon. Instead, he focused on FPS's and RTS's, so he's a bit of a strategist. Also good with his hands... when he actually bothers to do something.
• Personality: Tends to be a lazy bum, the only reason he's so thin is because he doesn't bother to eat regularly scheduled meals. Due to this, however, he is almost always hungry. He also speaks with that relaxed, non-caring tone. Doesn't like to fight directly in battle, since he's so lazy, but he will take action when provoked.
• History: Mostly just scraped by with passing grades and mediocre performance. The majority of his achievements are in online gaming, which he is quite good at due to years of doing nothing but playing games. He doesn't have many friends either, at least not in real life, so he tends to distance himself from people.

@Full Moon: I love Axew~ So cute~ Now we have two good chefs and "quiet" people. She's quiet until you tried talking about her about interesting stuff. Yay a prospective love interest! I can imagine them going to the forest, looking for berries and herbs, only to come back so late. I like quiet guys, being quiet myself before IRL if people never approached to me. Now I don't get that shy but still quiet if you never talked to me. And my character can be so loving and spoiling them to bits so they'd be PERFECT with each other~ Talking his ears off sometimes, and he listens to that annoying Skitty, or being so quiet he wants her to say something. Two loners—at least one former loner, being together playing video games. (if there are video games in that island and go Cage of Eden with the stepper charger for the laptop.) Plus she'll force him to be in the front, making his talent shine. Ow O

@Teh Stanman Another love interest! It reminds me of that "friend" I have in this forums...but he's actually a nerd. And then I cling to him. XD

I'll see how this turns out. For now I'll stick to the Skitty.

@Deadbeatloser 22 : I sucked at thinking of stuff...so I just posted random stuff about my character's skills and history, and then kinda based it irl. But I'm not cute. You could do yours that way too? .__.

Name: Mitzuki

Gender:Male

Age: 17

Pokemon: Roselia

Human appearance: nearing 180 cm, considered rather tall since his slim body shape emphasises his height, fair faced, medium blonde hair, he has red eyes which made him quite the wierdo at high school.

Pokemon appearance: A rather tall Roselia but only as Roselia go which is quite short- As Roselia he retains his red eyes. One of his flowers is golden instead of the usual blue.

Personality: Mitzuki is the guy who is always in the group but never seems to really add anything to the conversation...but talk to him about any sort of gaming and he'll be sure to be slightly more lively. When faced with a fight he automatically finds himself shying into the background- he hates this since when he was a human his height was alone quite intimidating and it pained him to be seen as a coward.

Skills: He is the normal guy in terms of skills but if there is one thing that he wants to achive you can bet he'll brush aside everything else to concentrate on this one thing he wants- after that he usually gets stuff done. In battle he would probably be the one to rush in, either for fear of being looked down apon or out of anger- beware if its the latter.

History: The average school kid except that he was raised by his uncle instead of his parents- didn't really dabble in pokemon so...it will be interesting.

Hope this does the trick.

@biomechcharacter Oh wait! THAT GUY IS PERFECT! Can I try to pair him up with Skitty? It would make hugs rather awkward too. Too much love interests~ I love pairings.

@Nman, Oh that's not for you. It's for DBL, I read the rules and it said I shouldn't edit much and all that crap. Well Hachiko I see that you really want to pair your character with another one

I don't have anything against pairing Elsie with Sean, I just think it would be very hard for her to get along with him since he DOES border on The Voiceless at times, but I can see some funny interaction between them =V

DBL, if you're a bit stuck about history and skills, you can just write what amounts to 'nothing notable', its what I did. Especially at your character's age, it's unlikely that she really has much of a history at all or an impressive skillset.

Making a character that young is always tough. Plus, you can't populate their history with very much stuff, unless it's all horrible because they were a child soldier or something.

Then again the way I wrote her appearance doesn't fit with a "real world" starting setting either.

Eh. Like I said, we don't expect to be in the real world for very long (I doubt we'll even last two pages before we're at the island) so it's the sort of thing that can be swept under das rug.

Anyway, in theory, if I made a group on Skype (using the IM feature, not the calls) would anyone use it? I've seen a lot of other RPs around here are using it, and the last one I did that was successful also used one, so I'm just throwing the idea out there.

Well, I don't have Skype. Never bothered to make an account, although I suppose I can. I'll be on the fence about this.

I'll use it.
