Interesting I'd like to see what this blog might have later on. It looks like it's holding something back. We'll see something soon I hope.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Thx Sicon.
Boy these multi forums are gonna be interesting. But ultimately I think the WTF forum is a good idea from the Puppet Masters. Good job Dana and Tom! (Probably mostly Dana! lol)

Meta... Meta... Metacats! HOOO!!Well, I am getting off now. I should return about twelve hours from now, but it may be more if I need to stay overtime at work. I get the feeling that I am going to be doing a LOT of reading when I get back. It is already looking like a busy day in ARG land.
Checkmate. For some reason, saying that is just so satisfying. CheckmateHoly shitcow, this has gotten waaaaaay out of hand.
First, both my character and the Goddamn Lime Man get accepted (A Day in the Limelight, heh-heh) And I was like . Then, Joe freaks out, and now we have 2 new sites to deal with! That also makes the shards page somewhat obsolete.
One thing that has bothered me when watching Joe's update: why did he receive the comic book, and what did he mean by "thanks for sending everyone right to me"?
Also, I guess with both the cat and Dana tweeting about some checkpoint, it's safe to divide the timeline into acts, and now it's the beginning of Act 2.
Now, to calm my Archive Panic.
The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.Double-posting to avoid Wall of Text.
I've finally read through all that we have now, and I'd say we are back to the same situation that we were in when we've found the cat - no puzzles, only characters. I'd say we can take some rest now.
What I think about the psychiatrist: she is quite real Meta , and it's not going to be about her, but about her patients. I bet my mind that it's going to be some guy saying "Let me go, I need to save Hyrule!", and she is being The Scully. Also, I'd say she makes a nice impression.
I'd rant about why Mr. A split the URL, but I'll take it to the WTForums. That's pretty much offtopic now.
Wait...
Fridge Horror: The packages were sent on September, 24. The first post at the site is on September, 25! There may be a logical explanation - like, other packages were sent a day later, but... The first post that has a vague hint at the blog's importance was made on 27th! How in the rotting hell did he know?!

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.Received my package, although it doesn't really matter by this point. Only really significant thing is something that was probably noticed earlier; that the letter I received (and presumably everyone with an URL) is different from the first one that is available scanned.
Anyone else think this◊ would make a good page image?
Marching on together.I don't think it would resize well. Besides, it may be too early to pick an image - it's only the beginning...
The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries. That's pretty awesome. Where did you find it?
I love that image. It doesn't look bad at 350◊, but would be improved with cropping.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. That's beautiful.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerIt was on Facebook.
By the way, this might have been mentioned before, I had an idea. When the guards were being written, Mr. A said not to include the cracks as this would make them bigger. He also said any medium could be used, which I would assume includes videos. Now, I would think the wall isn't an actual wall but some sort of barrier between worlds. As Joe was posting videos of characters appearing the cracks must be in the videos. Therefore Joe could be unwittingly making the cracks bigger. This could explain the threats telling him to stop.

Marching on together.Well, it looks like a lot has happened.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Here we go again...
The whole thing about the realities' interaction is pretty fuzzy. First, I don't think WTF videos are making any damage, because the characters are techically real. Second, I think there was some other condition for the cracks to appear - as I said, there are lots of characters who break the fourth wall in their stories - literally or not, and they are still safely contained. Or maybe there was no way we could have widened the cracks, and Mr. A just didn't want for our stories to get too meta and confusing. Or he was just messing with us. It could be anything.
Dammit, the lack of data on the subject is very annoying.

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries. That's a beautiful looking image and fits really well to this.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Just a theory, thought it would explain a couple of things. By the way how long do I have to wait before I don't have a ten minute limit?
edited 29th Sep '12 5:12:11 AM by neverslender
Marching on together.Sorry, I don't even understand what you are talking about. =(
I've listened a little to that Echo Chamber interview. It mostly covers seasons 1 & 2, so it's not really helping. (There are, though, lots of meaningful details that I missed, as I always do, like the Shaky Cam becoming steadier over time (it's actually a hidden plot point)). Basically, after the first half an hour I switched to the last 5 minutes (I prefer text over audio, it's faster), and indeed, there was some stuff about season 3 (just some hints on the premise - I kind of couldn't make it out the first time, and then Dana said it were spoilers, so I didn't rewind). The ARG? There's just one new thing: they kept calling it "mini-ARG", and that's about it.
Hence my question for those who had some experience with ARGs: how long does an average ARG take?
The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries.
Based on my experiences with the Tron ARG. It started around July 2009 and ended shortly before Legacy came out. Mind you this was big ARG with ALOT to do.
This ARG has plenty for going for it but it's definitely not on the scale of something like Tron or Super 8's ARG.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Don't some ARGs have physical locations one must go to, and hidden messages in advertising and such? And many people all over the world? I feel it is sort of like that. There's, what, no more than twenty of us even counting the less than active ones and all physical packages were just delivered through post. I've never really been in an ARG but it seems sort of along those lines.
And of course, what it is an ARG for. Films seem common (A.I. noticeably) and other fairly big things, but here we have a website which, while fairly well known in some circles, is pretty small and only commercial to sustain itself and more specifically the web show of that website.

I've followed Marble Hornets and Everyman Hybrid which have been going about three years. And i meant i can only do one post every ten minutes cos i'm new.
Marching on together.Houston, we have a patient.
Here is the WTF thread. Tune in. That "crowdsourcing" sounds very promising.
By the way, we need to color her in the timeline. If she is real, we need another color for real people. If not - ... hell, we don't even know yet.

The Other Wiki could really use Laconic entries. Can anyone think of any homeless/tramp characters?
Marching on together.I think most characters would become homeless on breaking through.
Wow. Lots of stuff happened while I was gone.
Mr. A chose the Guardians (Psi's working for Gurt now, I guess?), Joe had a breakdown, the URL got solved, and now we have two new websites to catch up on.
Things are going well, I see.
WHOA! Awesome quality URL image on the WTF Forum here!
I can almost read the whole thing!
Looks like we have a suspect! http://mindsandmatters.ezblog.co/
Blog looks unrelated at first glance, just like Poirot. Looks to the the blog of a psychiatrist. It is dubious with the current information whether the writer is a POI, (They seem quite up to date with technology and such, though they could just be from a modern story) but (s)he mentions several strange patients, so there might still be a clue.
Also, as with Poirot, the posting has only just started, which is very suspicious.
Awesome job, Yankee White.
UPD: Blog obliquely mentions "test subjects" of some kind. I'm not sure I like the sound of that, especially coming from a possibly fictional psychiatrist. They have a tendency to turn out rather... evil.
