Oh, but 4chan hates absolutely everyone and everything.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Depends on the board.
God help you if you diss 40k-and by that I mean 40k as a whole and not just stuff by Matt Ward and stuff like that-on /tg/.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Not really. Just bad games and/or selling out. You can have some nice conversations there, as long as you don't post about taboo games in a positive manner, like just about every single Bioware game that doesn't rhyme with Malder's Bate. It's a better site than Reddit at the least.
EDIT: We are getting way off topic now, though. So, uh, sexual assault? It's pretty damn bad, huh? To be honest, I'm wondering why she didn't just tear off his balls or something. She was in a pretty good position to, after all. I mean, this sounds like some sort of Asian neckbeard attacked her, so I doubt he could've put up a fight.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."That's only /tg/ (and a few of the other nicer boards) dude. /b/ and /v/ hate everything no matter what forever, and are absolutely infested with trolls who would probably say, in response to the actual topic of this thread, things like
"lol shde desvdd itc cuz she liek it!" and such to piss people off.
By the way Wacky Pancake, even if you do have N-Word Privileges, I'd advise you to remove that subtitle from your avatar. A hardass mod will eventually IP Ban you for it out of the blue. Moderation here tends to be harsh like that, though I supposed that's one of the reasons tvtropes isn't nearly as bad as 4chan or Reddit.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Hrm. This is pretty horrible. But I do have to say, it seems like her friends approached this security guard and basically demand he take action without even identifying the perpetrator. In that case "What do you expect me to do?", while unnecessarily rude, is more or less a valid question.
Mind you, that's just my outsider's perspective of the incident, and I don't blame her or her friends for being upset at the security guard. There are better ways of handling those sorts of things.
I feel obligated to point out that if this had happened at, for example, a Super Bowl party, would people be calling in an internet manhunt on football fans?
It's bad that this happened, but the gaming community is a little sensitive to these things right now and will probably overreact when the woman says herself that there are only two people to blame: the creep and the security guard.
From what I hear, this was in a club that had hired a few girls to act overly friendly/flirty with the male guests. So that provides some context.
It doesn't excuse the sick fuck at all, though.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."That was not cool at all.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. That security guy had better get fired for that.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. Now that I read into this more, why the hell did she wait 3 hours until she got all upset over it? Shit, isn't this something you start screaming RAPE at the top of your lungs over?
Also, I can't take TRIGGER WARNINGS seriously after reading half the shit on Tumblr. Sorry if that offends anyone.
EIGHT GLORIOUS SIDESShe was probably kind of tipsy and utterly shocked. You don't expect things like that to happen at a party. It's not unusual for an assault victim to have difficulty processing something crazy like that.
Damn, poor girl. This is why I am reluctant to attend parties and conventions in general. I've seen too many examples of women getting victimized and little being done about it.

Good GOD. People are SICK. I mean, WTF MAN. WTF. making someone do THAT is around "dont shit where you eat" on the common sense scale!
EEEEUUAAAAGGGHHHH.

Same here.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelTake it from experience: not always. There's no one narrative to this.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.Shock can actually skew your processing pattern enough that reporting it might not even have occured to her until much later (and don't anyone dare say that she can't possibly have been in shock).
From reading her blog, it seems like she's dealt with it and moved on.
But it would still be good to see the perpetrator get hit with a sexual assault charge. I feel that not prosecuting him would constitute passive encouragement of such behaviour.
The hard part is of course finding him. And I'm pretty sure criminals have already internalized the message of "nothing will happen if I don't get caught." You might call it a basic premise.
And now this incident will be used to show some inherent misogyny in the gaming community. Yes, what this guy has supposedly done is wrong. Yes, the security guard might have not acted in a professional manner. No, this is not something that indicates anything wrong with anyone except the 2 mentioned. This kind of stuff can happen everywhere, it's sad but that's how it is.
I also wonder what would have happened if a woman would have made a man touch her vagina. Probably no big news story, though.
Since when does the Internet care about sexual harassment?
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Since it gives them an excuse to act like jerks.
Well, just go to 4chan than. You'll see hatred the likes of which God has not seen.
