Guys Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has the best ending ever!
No wait Skyrim is out now! That has the BEST ENDING EVER!
Awww man Black Ops 2 is coming soon that's going to have the BEST ENDING EVER!
HNNNNNGGGG!
My personal favourite ending would have to be Persona 3 (The Journey). In spite of its very flawed storyline, the ending was wonderful. It was bittersweet, fitting, kind of ambiguous, very emotional, etc.
SO OF COURSE IT'S NOWHERE ON THE LIST cuz it's all loltoojapanese yes I will forever be bitter about that
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.I remember when I looked at that book in a store. At first I thought, "What the hell is up with this?" Then I realized that almost nobody voted for the best ending ever. They just voted for their favourite games.
My list of best endings ever would probably include the normal ending of Chrono Trigger ("Saving the Future?" sold me), Okamiden (despite or because of how I bawled like a baby), Tales Of The Abyss (because of the moving sacrifice, and The Stinger, no matter how much of a Mind Screw it was), and Kingdom Hearts II. Probably something else that I've forgotten as well.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"I played through it a month ago and don't even remember the ending. It can't be that good.
I think that from that list I'd nominate Red Dead Redemption (I felt very sore and angry after finishing the game but after a few weeks of bawling my eyes out I realised it perfectly fitted with the theme of the game). I'd rate Prince Of Persia also quite high.
Black Ops isn't exactly bad though, it's just average.
If any question why we died/ Tell them, because our fathers lied -Rudyard KiplingHow on earth did they get that Co D had the best ending? I'd understand if this was for favorite games, but even the small sample size shouldn't have screwed up the results this badly if they managed the poll right. Guinness should know how to run polls to compare quality: you get accurate information by averaging the value of ratings, not summing totals.
Or it could be that a lot of the sample hasn't played many games beyond Co D Blops.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonSo in short, Guiness isn't very good at choosing audiences to sample, let alone making sure it's a diverse one.
Not really. If you have everyone rate games they've played on a scale of one to five stars and average them, then the sample size and distribution of game types doesn't affect the outcome as much. There would be some shift from people who weren't voting for the actual question, but games that fewer people play don't lose spectacularly from having so few votes comparatively. (Also, rating rather than selecting one answer would make it less likely that people would misinterpret the question.)
^ even better just don't try to BS this like it's a valid world record.
You know what we need to do to rectify this injustice.
Make our own thread on best game endings. Tropers of Earth, RISE.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency>Two COD games in the top five
All my rage could be used to power the entire world for 1,200 years. People are seriously this fucking stupid.

If anyone in the thread wants to kidnap me, I don't mind. We'd just be in their van drinking Mountain Dew and watching MLP for days on end^ Because you know how COD fans are...and remember how many of them are...you make it open vote, COD fans will quickly come in...

Give me cute or give me...something?It's an opinion poll, it's meaningless unless there was going to be a referendum.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet. This is so wrong. Obviously Big Rigs has the best ending.
You're winner!
What about that wrestling game for NES?
"A WINNER IS YOU!"
Am I awake or do I dream? The strangest pictures I have seen. The best ending to a game is obviously Ghostbusters on the NES.
CONGLATURATION !!!
YOU HAVE COMPLETED A GREAT GAME .
AND PROOVED THE JUSTICE OF OUR CULTURE .
NOW GO AND REST OUR HEROES !
This is not a record. It's completely subjective, so it makes no sense to present it as anything else.
