@Hopey: I've lived in south England as long as I can remember, but I was born in Pakistan.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I had leftover pasta noodles for lunch!
From my grandmother's 75th!
@ Odd. I'm not Italian, and I can tell the difference!
Mind, I am a cultured individual, so I don't count. :P
@ Tele. Ahhh. Awesome.
Pasta's still quite often noodles. If spaghetti and linguine and such aren't noodles, then a circle is not round.
But calling them noodles just sounds stupid and trivializes how wonderful they are.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. How so? Noodles are wonderful anyway!
See, noodles in the Asian sense have tradition to back them up. Noodles in the Italian sense merely have "I'm too lazy to learn what this pasta is called" to back them up. Also, Kraft commercials for that microwave pasta crap with powdered fake cheese.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Rice all the way. They go with everything and have so much surface area to soak up the sauces of whatever you're eating.
PAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~
*ahem* Noodles, definitely.
Pasta >
the cat got skinned again!Rice. :3 But that's cause I always have rice. :p
I like noodles too though! :3
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅI can cook noodles. I cannot cook rice. So noodles wins.
Both, though noodles do seem more classy IMO.
Now using Trivialis handle.I'm not a very good chef and thus have a hard time getting rice to hold onto any flavor, so... NOODLES FTW.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Pastas are okay. The best use of noodles are in stir fries, soups, or curry. Mmm...Thai curry noodles...
THAI FOOD IN GENERAL.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahI LOVE RICE. I COULD EAT IT ALL DAY EVERY DAY.
Noodles are okay, I guess, but RICE WITH SOME SORT OF MEAT OR EVEN POTATOES IS THE BEST.
Usually here.Pastas are the way to go. I also dislike calling all sorts of pasta noodles. Doesn't feel just.
Rice is okay, but pastas will forever stay number 1 in my heart.
The Great Northern Threadkill.Thai food kills me. Literally.
That's a shame since it's so awesome. So very awesome. People are like "Are you sure you want that? It's spicy," and I'm like "GIVE ME SPICY CONDIMENTS THIS IS MILD RARARERGRRHFH".
Before devouring bizarre coconut milk, tapioca, bean...pudding...stuff.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahNoodle, they have a nice semi crispy texture when you reheat them. Rice on the other hand tastes like broken glass when reheated.
The only kind of rice I really like is chicken fried rice, and spanish rice, judging from the one time I actually had it, so I would have to say noodles.
Although I must say noodles have ruined blonde hair for me. Everytime I see someone with long, curly/wavy blonde hair, I think "Oh, she has pretty hair." then I remember how much it resembles some types of noodles.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.Pilau rice is good. :3 Boiled rice with stir-fried vegetables and spicy fish is good. :3
Mm, rice.
