[up] Not all (which is an overused term in and of itself), but a lot of them are on the internet. Go to message boards, Youtube comments, chatrooms, you'll see that a large majority of them hold a grudge towards AA because of EMH ending.

Well, I did it.

I finally bit the bullet and saw the first 3 episodes on Netflix.

It's okay. I think I've seen worse things before.

Granted, it is the first few episodes so hopefully it'll get better.

Liam O'Brien has a pretty decent Nazi accent and Roger Craig Smith does a fine Cap. smile

It's gets better as it goes on.

Like I said, try not to go into it with a closed mindset just because of the largely vocal criticism.

Here are the episode titles for next month:

Sun Feb 1 - 8:30 am - 209 - The Dark Avengers

Sun Feb 8 - 8:30 am - 210 - Back to the Learning Hall

Sun Feb 15 - 8:30 am - 211 - Downgraded

Sun Feb 22 - 8:30 am - 212 - Widow's Run Source: Toonzone

And there's one next week as well that has to do with the Mind Infinity Stone.

Well, I finished season 1 earlier today.

Pffft. I really can't see what's the problem everyone's having. (Aside from the whole "replacing EMH" thing.)

Granted, there are some times when Iron Man's douchiness gets a bit much...but beyond that, it's alright.

And that stuff I said about Adrian Pasdar sounding bored when voicing Tony Stark? As the season went on, it sounded like he was improving towards the end.

Overall, while I'd still like to see EMH come back in some form (maybe via Netflix like I suggested a few months back), AA isn't half bad. smile

P.S. In case anyone bashed Seth Green as Rocket Raccoon, I'll say this: I didn't think he was super bad as Rocket. If anything, it sounded like he was trying to do a mix of Rocket's original Cockney accent with a pinch of Bradley Cooper thrown in.

Honestly it's not that it's bad. It's just.... so average I can't find it interesting. Whenever I do watch it, I find it okay but I feel nothing to keep me interested. Which I guess is still better than shows like USM or Ben 10 Omniverse where it was flat out painful to watch.

[up]So this is an Avengers Assemble two-parter, or it's one Ultron episode of AA and one Ultron episode of USM? It's probably the former, right?

Actually it's just a AA episode.

I watched the first episode, and it just annoyed me on so many levels. It's too simplistic. And I think the same can be said about the current Spider-man series.

Guardians of the Galaxy looks good, though. I really look forward to this one

Are they erasing Pym's accomplishments like they are in the movie by saying Ultron was created by Tony here?

[up] Yeah, except in the movies they tease at the notion that Hank Pym originated the idea based on the conversation that the Ultron project is an older project.

The show, yeah, they are pretty much making Ant-Man the new member who never did anything extrodinary instead of the founder nobody notice a lot.

. . . And I still wonder how Ultimate Spider-Man is the bad show compare to this. Sure the humorous tone is bad, but at least it wasn't as forced as this show's humor.

I find it funny that this show assume we're supposed to know all these character's backstories (presumably through Earth's Mightiest Heroes) instead of just telling us through exposition.

And by funny, I mean I admittedly find it annoying. This is as vague as you can get. sad

As much as I enjoy this show, a lot of it's problems can be very glaring. Though in the end, I usually forgive it for whatever they messed up on.

At least it's not Max Steel (2013).

To be fair, Ultron is an 'achievement' I'm sure Hank himself would love to see off his resume more than anyone else.

The movies are the best bet Hank Pym has to move away from the public perception of 'wife beater who builds genocidal robots'. At least when Tony builds a genocidal robot, that's just seen as a wrong move in his otherwise multilayered character. When Hank does it, it becomes 50% of his claim to fame, the other half being 'I hit my wife'.

[up] In spite of the results leading towards a violent sociopath the world has faced, Ultron is the first attempt at mapping human brainwave patterns into a machine.

That is warranted of respect even though it, you know, created Ultron (and inadvertly created Vision, Jocasta and Victor Manchia as a follow up result).

[up]The bad guy team that the Secret Avengers (that's what I'm calling Cap's team, it fits them IMO), who are they?

They're not bad guys, but the team is "The Winter Guard".

Red Guardian, Darkstar, and Ursa Major.

The guy in the silver and red armor is the Crimson Dynamo. Not only does he look like Ivan Vanko, but the real name of the Crimson Dynamo in Earth's Mightiest Heroes was "Ivan Vanko".

Coincidence? I think not.

[up]What? Thats who Crimson Dynamo has always been in all media.

I believe you're thinking about ANTON Vanko.

But there's still not much of that guy either: http://marvel.wikia.com/Anton_Vanko
