I am currently trying to 'flavor up' the character pages, by giving them 'description' like in this page and general tropes regarding the Pantheon in general. Anyone got an idea how 'general tropes' can be presented for each Pantheon?

Good God, I ended up triple-posting. But at least we know who's the next God after Artio, it's from Japan.
It's that deity that many Samurai Warriors or Sengoku Basara players know because he's prayed for by Uesugi Kenshin there and in real life, Bishamonten...
Oh wait, wrong War God. It's actually Hachiman.
Looks like a Hunter.

My god. Now I'm quadra-posting... Really, guys?
That said, we do have a new Roman Goddess on datamining:
Discordia, the Goddess of Chaos. AKA Roman version of Eris who would instigate the Trojan War.
really, they went for the roman version
ive been imagining an eris moveset for MONTHS and they go and roman it up >:c
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaI just don't think people want to hear about how I love killing people by throwing giant rocks at them.
Also you may notice that some God bio were being rewritten so they don't come off as copy paste... It's an ongoing project.
Maybe because the Greek Pantheon has been too crowded? But I'm kinda... eh on it. Discordia is pretty much copy paste of Eris with nothing new added.

Why, that's the Romans inability to invent their own gods in a nutshell.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984You can't hear them complaining about that inability over them crying tears of ONE OF THE BIGGEST EMPIRES IN ALL OF HISTORY WITH ORGANIZATIONAL CONCEPTS THAT LIVE ON TO THIS DAY, ROMA INVICTA! (This phrase is not actually true)
"I have a vewy gweat fwiend in Wome called Biggus Dickus".
Never liked Rome because they just copied the Greek gods. It's like every human society can invent gods, at least putting their own spin on them why couldn't they?
Haven't played Smite in ages but I still love the concept and glad they're still up and running.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Well they kinda did spin off Ares into Mars, making him more honorable than just a giant-ass brute unfavorite due to Rome respecting war more than Greeks.
But then Ares came first in the game, so no for Mars.
The problem I had with Discordia is that if she's supposed to be Eris, what the hell is the Roman equivalent of the Trojan War? She can't just travel to Greece and do Trojan War out there.
I wouldn't be surprised if they went with Discordia because they thought the name sounds better.
Eris is kind of a plain name.
I never thought much of Roman paganism either - doesn't hurt that they famously went Christian later too (though funnily enough I think I've read that Greece did that first in Europe too). The biggest thing I can think about it is that no one calls Hercules Heracles, really.

You can't stop the Roman Empire!
'SPEAR!'
He took the Yard away from the Deadman!
wait...
I just really want Hera to show up already... and not be a drunk lush stereotype
Hey Ares's whole rep as a badass comes from the Roman's since he's a giant pu... pathetic individual who only fights battles that are already won and runs at the first sign of losing.
Remember the Roman's consider themselves the Trojan's succesors

I...would never expect them to make her that. Not sure what they'd do, really, if at all. At best, I could imagine them using her driving a chariot like in The Iliad (which would be pulled by peacocks - come on, how do you not want that?) or going more toward Juno and sticking with using weather powers.
It'd be funny if she had some sort of bond ability like Aphrodite, but the bond's more for granting sight around you while bonded because Hera is watching you closely.
He may not be a god, but motherfucking Diomedes needs to be in the game. As a mortal, he drove off not one, but three Greek gods during the Trojan War - Aphrodite, Apollo, and none other than Ares himself.
But not everyone beat three Greek gods in one war.
I'd like to see more legendary Greek heroes.
Such as Theseus, Perseus, Achilles & Odysseus.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I want Odysseus' ult to be escaping the battlefield by getting stupidly lost
"Ultimate: THE ODYSSEY: Teleport to another map for the rest of the game."
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaHis passive is probably being unable to ask for directions.

Well according to the Patch Notes, the new Conquest map will feature actual Greek Titans as the Order/Chaos Titans. Cronus becomes Chaos Titan, and Themis is Order Titan.
Well that'll make the whole Ancient Grome thing even worse if the minions stay the same
I'm surprised they didn't go with Fujin as a next Japanese god. P Erhaps more well known that Hachiman.
My mains are Amaterasu and Susano'o. Probably will get Bellona soon.
Swordplay and writing blog. Purveyor of weeaboo fightin' magic.I really like what they did with Hachiman, the historical Samurai references :-D
Welp, we are getting Cu Chulainn next patch
