Show me your badge

The badge discussion thread. Much like the threads about avatars, handles, signatures, locations, and titles. Talk about what badges you own, how you decides which to wear, and maybe your custom hovertext in case we missed it.

I was going to buy the Tardis, film reel, and Indiana Jones fedora, but I noticed that Fast Eddie had the Tardis, reel, and YKTTW hat, and I found the "talk geek" badge.

I also have a Herald badge I feel like I should be wearing, since I asked for it and blah blah forum duty. But I like these and I spent money on them.

I set some quasi-pretentious film studies stuff about voyeurism on the film reel. The "talk Geek" badge has "Geek spoken, nerd understood", which is a riff on a sign I heard about a shop in Scotland showing: "English spoken here. American understood."

I have the heart badge. I didn't buy it, I refuse to give money for these for personal reasons. It was a gift from my boyfriend deathpigeon.

(To be quite honest, I really dislike how posts look with badges and I'm only wearing mine because it is to show my love for him)

I have none yet but I can think of a couple I want. If I had some I'd have the Scorpio sign and a magic 8 ball, because they would go with my Vriska theme.

I have an Empty Heart. Not sure why, it just looks really nice. I also have a Musical Note badge, which I will probably alternate after a while.

I would get a badge but I have no money.

I'd most likely get a Zodiac badge but I don't know which one out of Leo, Aries, Virgo or Cancer.

And just for clarification, my personal reasons for not buying badges is because I have better things to waste money on than pixels on a forum.

If I had money I'd get one.

But I don't have money. Or a job. And there are a bunch of other things I want to buy once I do get a job (such as a phone that doesn't suck, a new 360, a new computer, booze, car payments, more booze).

I'll get around to it eventually.

I only have the Herald badge I automatically get at Writer's Block.

As a student, I don't have the means for buying a badge.

I made the Yin Yang-badge that I wear, so very proud of that one. For being a contributor of badges, I also got a badge-medal. And the Norwegian flag is because I'm Norwegian and had Tropies to spare.

If I could, I would buy a badge. I doubt my parents would let me get a paypal account, let alone use it to buy pixels on a forum.

Quite a few of them do seem rather nice, though I suppose that I'll have to wait until I am employed or collect the bounty for a rogue vassal.

Badges? BADGES? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' BADGES.

It's not very obvious at all why I have this. No, not all at. Nope. Nobody can guess why I have this.

Anyway, it was a gift from Phoenixor. Which is sweet.

I'll probably buy a badge or two next month, because then I'll have more money and there probably will be more options available. Although I've been eyeing that aleph-null badge.
