Man, and this was a PITA the last time around...
Pulled it. This one's a complicated case. Maybe not a big spoiler for the manga, but a huge one for the anime. Either way, too risky.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.We can always go with this:
Evil Eye from Magic The Gathering. Unfortunately, it's pretty small...

The second one, which looks like a gun is being pointed at you from behind the eye, is a good contender.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe trope is "Eyes that grant (or eye that grants) magic powers." None of those seems good.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. In that case, a rename is probably also in order, because not all evil eyes (by trope description) are evil.
I wanted to find a good pic of Zasalamel, or maybe Reisen, but I didn't find any good pics. As it is, I think the suggested ones in #6 are good enough.
While that's TRS matter, it's very often actually called Evil Eye even when not actually evil. I think.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yeah, for example, in Japanese any "eye with supernatural powers" is called magan, which literally means "demon/magic/evil eye" (the first kanji has three separate but related meanings; "evil" comes from "demon" being an "evil spirit").
Image suggestions: Mio Sakamoto◊ from Strike Witches using her "Enhanced Visual Acuity" magic which detects an enemy weakness. For those wondering about the Eye Patch she's lifting, she normally wears it over the eye because she can't turn it off.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I like that.
BTW, why was Shiki Ryougi image◊ taken down? It used to be the trope's article image, IIRC.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It just looked to much like simply Glowing Eyes.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickBy that logic, my suggestion is invalid too... or does having only one eye "glowing" and the other being normal have some significance that I'm missing?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yours isn't just eyes glowing in the dark.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWait, does detecting an enemy's weakness count as "power over (user's) perception", subtype "clairvoyance"? If not, why not use a pic of Lelouch Lamperouge's Mind Control Geass eye activating in the first episode of Code Geass?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I think the Strike Witches one works the best.
Well, here's two more pics of the same character: [1]◊, [2]◊. Vote on which of the three you think would be better.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I prefer the first of those to the other two, and any of them to the other suggestions.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I think the character must know a certain Britannian prince, who would also be a good example- those are a good illustration of the eye "in action" though. I do kind of like the Naruto example as well as the Fullmetal Alchemist one though.
HodorCan't we go with something more commonly known, like Medusa?
I've known about it since the beginning. But I just refused to believe it.Many versions of Medusa does not specify her eyes as her stoning power. Including the original myths, which are plainly about looking at her. Thus, an image of her would likely be ambiguous.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I'd say combined 1 & 3 into a "before-after" composite. 2 is an intermediate stage, technically.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Crown Description:
This will decide the page image for Evil Eye. Vote up what you like and down what you don't. Remember that we are looking to illustrate that these are eyes that have powers, and are not simply eyes that look evil. We want to discourage eyes on characters that look evil as those cause trope confusion.
The current image was chosen in an Image Pickin' thread, but on the discussion page a newbie claimed that it was a spoiler and someone else agreed with them. Admittedly, it doesn't seem like a big one, but feedback would be appreciated.
