So did anyone tune into this? I'm surprised they decided to show EE&E this week because it's still airing anyway.

There's already a thread, albeit a thread that has gone off-topic.

But yeah, this is something I'm tuning into regularly now.

Oops, but in all honesty I thought that thread was for something else...

I remember the original Cartoon Planet, it was hilarious stuff. From what I've heard people don't seem to like the new sketches, but I haven't seen it, so I don't know what's going on.

I keep missing this. Guess I'm not that nostalgic for some of these shows...

I never saw the original, and think the sketches are about on par with what they were showing on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays when it was going straight downhill. But it's great to see the cartoons I was practically raised on back on the air.

I didn't think it was possible, but they somehow made Cartoon Planet even cheaper than it already was. No Space Ghost, no backgrounds, Flash instead of cels. Sheesh.

I mean, honestly, no Space Ghost? Zorak's not nearly as funny if he doesn't have the threat of being blown up hovering over him.

[up]You hated both incarnations of The Brak Show, didn't you? He didn't get blown up then either - he only acted as the straight man to Brak. XP

Actually Zorak was more of a bullying "friend" to Zorak. As I said in the Wiki Talk thread, how Zorak acts differs from show to show.

I don't like the way he is on the new Cartoon Planet. He's more like a typical college buddy then the Deadpan Snarker I remember.

I'm more of the Just Here for Godzilla type. I just watch for the older CN toons.

I'm secretly hoping they put Sheep in the Big City (CP did air Robotomy) and Pokémon (that has aired on Boomerang) on the block. And maybe first-season Johnny Test.

I'm not LGBT. I just think Rain's really cool. Apologies if my humor gets too painful.

I could see sheep in the big city or season one johnny test being put on, but not Pokemon, cartoon planet only airs shows that are about 11 minutes long.

Untrue, they added Thundercleese to the show specifically to blast Zorak at least once an episode
