The Place for Purging Porn and Pedo-Pandering (AKA P5 flag evaluations)

Was a decision ever made on what to do with evaluating stuff that doesn't have a page yet?

I think that most 5P said "No", due to time consumption and the lack of need.

I just wanna know if I should remove the links or the examples entirely.

The NSFW links with porn ads can be removed. The examples not, since we don't have a 5P verdict - and don't need it without a page.

I recall a mod at one point saying that examples for cut works are fine so long as you don't link to the work page, since it'd encourage people to make a page on it, which they can't.

The new content policy says no trope examples. We are allowed to use images for trope pages from cut works.

So is there anything we can do works we're not sure about other than make a page, flag it, and hope for the best?

@Fight a lot of mainstream SFF can get pretty edgy. It's just that due to the amount of effort required to find the weird material, it doesn't get censored at stores.

Before exploring further it prompts me to describe my character. Okay.
Digging in help shows an option of adding more detailed descriptions of nude body parts. Example of use given is describing Good Scars, Evil Scars on the back of the character, so it earns some benefit of doubt that this isn't just for sex play >.>

Checked how that description worked. "look self" resulted in ^note [ You gained fetish points in autosexual! ]
His head is uncovered. He has a childish face still. He has bare arms. He has bare hands. He is topless. He has an innie belly-button. His bare back looks reasonably straight. His bare ass is to the wind. His penis is exposed for all to see. It is erect and about 4 inches long. His legs are bare. He is barefoot. He is 10 years old.
This is what any other playing looking at my character will see. Yeep.

EDIT: Doing a self edit here because I looked at the post and realized I was being more combative than productive.

So to rephrase my argument...

Precisely what makes it worse than all the other ecchi shounen series with fanservice involving "underage" (a word we've been told not to use because it has a vague and variable meaning) girls, some of whom looks (in the eyes of some people) as young as thirteen that have either already been passed on or we have been assured would never be cut?

I was under the impression that we have long sense established that fanservice of teenagers for teenagers isn't so much of an issue. These works aren't trying to appeal to pedophiles. They are trying to appeal to teens.

In reference to Bio Of A Space Tyrant, given that it is safe to say that none of you are going to have a hard time finding the books in your local community library there for anyone of any age to read without special restrictions, I would ask that P5 members at least give it as much of a benifit of the doubt as many of them have given stuff that is advertised and marketed as hentai and only available in obscure corners of the internet through illegal scanlations, and check it out for yourselves instead of relying on second or third hand accounts.

I'm not sure how much credibility I place in average readers to really properly identify messages in a story. For example, people see Hitler apologia in Enders Game, insist Lord Of The Rings is a WWII allegory with the Ring being nukes and think Lolita is pro pedophilia. I think it does warrant a bit more investigation even if it's quite likely that those reviewers were correct in this instance.

You know we have a pair of tropes for that 'everyone is Jesus in purgatory' and 'everyone is Satan in hell.'

Bio Of A Space Tyrant wasn't cut for being pedo-pandering. It was cut because a Google search for "bio of a space tyrant" + pedophilia brought up reviews that said that the book features societies in which clinical pedophilia is just another sexual variancy.

Oh, is that so? Hm, I could argue that it doesn't necessarily support the idea, but given the author's reputation I guess it probably doesn't condemn the idea too hard.

Sorry, this particular post got buried. Had I seen it I would have responded. The image in the link (I'm assuming the fourth is the one you referred to) was actually not the problem I had with Gore Screaming Show. While Kuro's comments seemed to indicate the game had an involved storyline and the article linked in Septimus's post indicate that there may be a censor option (given context they may be talking about the gore and not the sex), I voted devil because of the presence of sex scenes with Yuka (the girl in the first and third pictures in the article). She looks too much like a kid to justifiably vote angel.

Coincidentally, Yume Miru Kusuri is in a similar situation (that is, a story-heavy VN damned by the presence of sex scenes with an apparent child).
