Oh yeah, congratulations on your promotion, tdgoodrich1. I always pegged you as a top-grade P5 member candidate, both in diligent thoroughness of your reviews and your relative impartiality.

So, about Jungle De Ikou...

^I'd say it looks more comedic than pedo-pandering.

Congratulations on becoming a P5 member, Goodrich! If you ever need any help, I will be here to supply Brain Bleach-tinis in mass quantities.

Also, Jungle De Ikou seems more like it's going for a South Park-esque parody of magical girl transformations than trying to pander to pedophiles.

That "girl" looks far too old to paedo-pandering, as I mentioned before.

[up] Perhaps that's true of Mii, but Natsumi definitely looks preteen to me. Just saying. I mean, you did look at the Magic Dance video, right?

... Not that I actually support cutting it, mind you. Just trying to make sure that everyone got all bases covered before making their judgment.

Septimus: Concerning Iron Virgin Jun, I think I'm the only one who reviewed it so far, so I'm pretty sure I took that into account, and we're not cutting works solely because they contain rape.

Having seen all three episodes already, it is more comedic than anything else. You can see in the video everyone's "WTF?" expressions. Angelheaded.

Congrats tdgoodrich1!!! You've done a fantastic job in this forum already, so I'm sure you will continue to do so as an official panel member.

It looks like we're all agreed on Anime.Mnemosyne, so I'm resolving it from the queue with a disposition of "keep". Thanks for the feedback, all.

About Iron Virgin Jun: The anime is a comedy. Haven't read the manga.

Congratulations tdgoodrich1.

Make sure to look through the list and vote on all the stuff you know enough about.

I'm going to go flag some things I think should be reviewed.

Would it be less overwhelming if the oldest stuff on the list was first and that way it didn't seem so much like an incoming wave as stuff just trickling into the cue behind what you're working on?

Probably yes. This way, we can also keep the discussions on track without being derailed by every new flag.

I'd like to see oldest first just because that's the order in which I try to review stuff, but I don't know if it would help from a standpoint of making things less overwhelming or not. It might make it slower to notice bad flags, unless people were keeping an eye on the last page.

An option on how to sort the listing would be ideal, I think. Sorts by date added (ascending), date added (descending), and by number of votes are the first ideas that come to mind.

I definitely support oldest-first. People can always glance at the front page for rogue flags.

Edit: Oh yeah. List sorting mechanisms sound awesome.

Sorting by title would be useful too. If you're trying to check the status of something in particular, it can be hard to find right now.

So the P5 are back to 5 members again. Cool.

'Cept one's still missing and newbie is going on a hiatus soon. Question: can I use this material in a standup routine? 'Cuz this is some good comedy right here.wink

In all seriousness congrats goodrich. It surprised no-one and we are all happy for it.

[up][up]Then let's celebrate with Brain Bleach martinis all around.tongue Once I'm done with preparations I'll start looking at some of the older ones on the vote queue. I probably won't bother going to sleep tonight and will just sleep on the plane so until about 4AM local time I should be able to work through some of this stuff.

Is there anything specific y'all want me to look at first?

Well, The Mating Frenzy sounds like a poorly-disguised porno (and 3 inbounds aren't very promising)
