I feel like I've read more MLP fanfiction at this point than I've seen episodes of the actual show.
By the way, I think everything on the resolved but not done list can be marked done now.
To be fair, there's far less show episodes then there are Fanfictions. It was solely a matter of time.
And yeah, that's another one we can easily kill.
Well, it's not unusual to say "My Balls are done." these days.

Quest 64 thread@Totemic: It's more the idea that really popular works have been through more scrutiny than we could possibly give them and they've passed through it thus they don't need it again. Less popular works have more dark corners in which bad things can lurk. It's got nothing to do with notability and everything to do with the idea that they've already been looked over and thus it's redundant to do it again.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickBesides, TINSTAN doesn't really mean that every work is created equally. It means that any work that has tropes can have a page (unless it runs afoul of our content policy).
Read through Beating The Heat;
I'd say it's definitely NSFW, but it strikes me as more sex comedy than porn. There isn't much actual explicit details shown, and it's more Crack Fic than a serious thing.
But it has a plot that could stand up pretty well.

Can we get a bump on all the still-open threads?
Since things are going kinda slow today:
Re: Sundome
Preliminary Report:
- Demographic: seinen
- Serialized in Young Champion, further data not available on magazine
- Licensed for US release by Yen Press
Chapter 1:
Several panty shots, though the girl is college-age. Also likes to make a lot of erection and masturbation "jokes", because ha-ha-hah a club of perverts banding together to share porn is funny. Also, let's not talk about the specific masturbation techniques used. Bit excessive, yes? To its credit, no genitals are explicitly depicted.
Chapter 2:
More eye-rolling "it's funny because pervert protagonist is accidentally getting to second base with the girl" crap, and brief glimpses of her nipples down her shirt, but nothing to push it into cutworthy territory.
Chapter 3:
Chapter proper was tamest so far. Chapter eyecatch had the girl in what appeared to be a transparent bra and with her panties clinging onto her so tight she might as well have been completely butt-ass nekkid. Fuck this, I Need a Freaking Drink.
Chapter 4:
More of the same, just this time they depict labia in relief under panties on a newly-introduced girl. Still just a terrible ecchi series and not porn.
Chapter 5:
A transparent shirt on the first girl, and labia in relief on the second girl. Also, they're highschool age, not college as previously stated. Still just fanservicey. No semblance of a coherent plot either.
Chapter 6:
More of the same, with a Potty Emergency thrown in. A discretion shot is used.
Chapter 7:
Again with the transparent shirt. <rant> It's old, guys. It always has been old. So stop fucking using it. </rant>
Chapter 8:
Done with this steaming pile. Calling it.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenSomething else to be removed from the list, YMMV.Captain Planet.
Yeah. That page doesn't even really exist anyway.
Re: Sundome
Verdict: Restore, clean if necessary, keep locked
Pro:
- No sex, explicit or implicit
- No pedopandering
- Licensed in US
Con:
- Explicit depiction of genitalia and nipples
-
No plot of note-see below
It ain't porn, just really fanservicey. Probably a good idea to keep it locked if it's restored, though, because it is only just this side of what I would declare softcore porn.
Noted. Thanks, Sabbo. Nothing in the first volume, at least.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenIf I recall, Sundome develops a proper plot (alongside the same old antics) later, but since I got bored of the series after a couple of volumes I wouldn't be able to really say when that plot starts without doing more research. Nothing indicates to me however that the bulk of the content really changes how bad it is no matter how far through the plot you may go. (If you could stomach the mediocre-at-best artwork)
If you spraypaint 'em on, sure.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Well, I have to say, it's not like it's any more explicit then a few other things that have passed.
@Kuro: I'm well aware of that, but still... damn...
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Still not enough to give it the axe just on that alone, though, is it?

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Strictly speaking, it's already been axed, but again, I did say restore.
Goddamnit, that means this was posted in the wrong thread, doesn't it?

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenNo, of course not. I'm not gonna give a work/trope a devilhead just because it has explicit content.
Well, it was never reviewed, so this was probably the best thread for it.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Bad choice in clothing isn't really enough to doom a work or we'd have to go axe Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple. You've already said as much, though.

Although if we were talking labia in relief on a ten-year-old, then there might be trouble.
I think that I should flag Shintaro Kago, but I'm kind of on the fence for a couple of reasons. Thoughts?

I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Flag isn't the same as delete. P5 and the CVD crowd can decide whether he's clean or not.
What's precedent ever done for us?I don't remember. Did we have a standard for how creator pages are treated?
I... imagine we wouldn't cut something with a bunch of gore unless it was sexualised gore or fetishy gore with no plot. I'm not exactly sure where Gorn falls. And I have to confess I've never read anything that could be considered Gorn, so I'm not precisely sure what it is.
It would probably depend on the perversity level of all that stuff and the intent of the works in question.

... Ew.
