The VNDB has no mention of this, which is on our page:
What was once assumed to be a sixth couple has turned out to be a non-hentai spinoff called Hanahira! released in September 2010 (officially the ninth game in the series) along with a side-story light novel. It follows four characters in St. Michael's elementary division. The main focus is on the tsundere Kaori and Dogged Nice Girl Amane, with the overly-moe Koharu and Tall, Dark and Bishoujo Makoto supporting. A Fan Translation is in progress.
I went and looked up Hanahira!. While it doesn't have any nudity as far as what I saw, the characters looked underage to me, and considering what images I did see, I can't help but feel that it's paedo-pandering. So even that wouldn't work for a Bleached Underpants version.

"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!@ Lu 127
Oh, OK. If that's the case, we can create a page for that and redirect there, I guess.
EDIT: Hold on.
Strike that. Krazy Kopter may be right in that this merits a review.
Here is the page for Hanahira. It's listed as "all ages" though those images look a little suspect. A GIS didn't help.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenLooks like cute girls age 14 or so kissing to me.
...Which is still rather suspect.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Eh, if all the ever do is kiss, not so much. For 14 that's perfectly age appropriate behaviour especially if the only people they're kissing are the same age. That's the same level of sexualization as Hannah Montana.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI saw images of four of those girls bathing, and another with one undressing another girl. None of their naughty bits are shown, but it's rather blatant that those exist solely for fanservicey reasons. And the art style doesn't help either.

"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!Bath scenes are exceptionally common in Japanese fiction and don't really mean that much. You have to keep in mind that this is a culture where family and even public bathing is fairly common. Kids might even participate in mixed gender bathing when they are really young.
Re: Gunsmith Cats: According to the article Pyrite linked to, Minnie May's relationship to her 35-year old boyfriend began when she was 13 and he was 31, and nobody ever comments on the (creepy, creepy) moral implications of that. Is this not stuff the kind of stuff we're looking for?
Avatar art by Lorna-Ka.Is the relationship presented in a titillating sort of way?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. If I remember correctly the past relationship is only referenced never shown.
Yeah, all the nudity I found looking for that series was either a) Fan art, b) a completely different series, c) one rather mundane bath scene with heavy censor steam. It doesn't seem to be played for fan-service. Just as female bonding. Bath scenes are often places in Japanese media where characters talk about deep things.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI assume you are referring to Hanahira not gunsmith cats.
Yes, sorry.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI would like to submit that I do not in fact believe that Gunsmith Cats is the sort of 'pedo pandering' we are looking for. What we mean is stuff like kids with sex scenes, a whole lot of nudity, or even 'too many' panty shots.
Well, I'm up to the sixth episode of Popotan. And I'm thinking... why does this show have the reputation it does again?
Seriously, with the way people talk about it, I was expecting something on the order of To-Love-Ru Darkness. Well, not that I can see. Sure, it averts Nipple and Dimed with everyone including Mii, but it just doesn't come across as that significant. There's some panty shots, but blink and you'll miss most of them. The only really standout moments of fanservice I noticed were of Ai, and there's not even a lot of that.
I'm just not seeing anything that seems like a problem here.
"So... the time has come for you to meet your demise..."The game however is problematic. That could be the source of its reputation.
The anime does seems different though.
If we can keep stuff on the Popotan anime, we may be able to keep stuff on the game too since it has a cleaner PS 2 version.
Most people probably know about Popotan thanks to that annoying Caramelldansen meme. Doesn't help that nearly everything right down to the official music video references it. If they only knew...
"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!Well, according to all information I've seen the game has a totally different story anyway. So stuff about it doesn't really belong on the anime page whether the game is problematic or not. Or at least, mixing them seems like the more confusing way to do it.

"So... the time has come for you to meet your demise..."Hate to sound like a Single-Issue Wonk, but I noticed that the vote for Tales of MU is at 2-2 and I was curious as to what prompted the devil votes.
Our page is already about the anime, anyway. In a quick scan, the only references to the game are comparing it to the anime.
Komodin:
Re: Gunsmith Cats: Honestly? From what I recall, the relationship isn't presented as being titillating, and aside from that one scene that Meeble mentioned (and possibly one or two more, but my memory's hazy), there's relatively little explicitly-sexualised material involving the character. On the other hand, implied sexual activity is mentioned. As far as I know, very little about the relationship in the past is mentioned or depicted.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. There should be some sort of note that we're not trying to cut everything that plays to the fetishes, just too much to the 'lolita' fetish.

Re: Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke Wo
Looking at the VNDB pages(takes you to search for them; individual game pages may be NSFW), it doesn't look like any of them have any releases that aren't 18+.
