So, uh... Random idea, don't know if it's even a good idea, but... Hey, ho, let's go~

• Name: Honoka Wakana
• Age: 25
• Gender: Female
• Species: Human
• Sexuality: "None o' yer soddin' business."
• Appearance: It's claimed that the women in her family all look like one of her distant ancestors, whoever that might be. >.>
• Personality: Loud, abrasive and very blunt. Honoka-sensei is infamous for her disapproval of authority and general dislike of the establishment; she doesn't particularly get along with a lot of the faculty. She gets along far better with the student body, mostly due to her more anarchic tendencies being a constant source of amusement to them... Well, at least when she's not dragging them off to help her. Honoka-sensei is a big fan of western music, specifically rock; more specifically, punk rock, but she's fine with just about any loud, guitar-centric music. For inexplicable reasons, she always speaks in a British accent, although we're not entirely clear what British accent she's speaking.
• Skills: Honoka-sensei can play just about any instrument ever, but she favours the guitar. Unfortunately, she only knows three chords for her favoured instrument, but she doesn't understand why anyone would need to know any more. She can also speak fluent English, although it's a little rough in places.
• Biography: Half-English, half-Japanese, and all trouble. From a very young age, Honoka-sensei was exposed to music, as her mother was a celebrated concert pianist and her father was a orchestra conductor. She quickly picked up her own musical talents, but... Something was missing. Something just didn't feel right about anything she played.
  
  And then, she discovered what she'd been missing all this time. She discovered punk rock.
  
  Armed with nothing but three chords, the truth and an extended middle finger to the more "cultured" musical talents of her parents, she set out on her path to head the greatest punk rock band there ever was. Of course, things haven't been working out exactly the way she planned them, so she's been using her more general musical talents to work as a music teacher to make ends meet whilst she gets together the band. As the years go by, however, she's started to wonder if it'll ever really work out... But who knows? Only time will tell.
• Role: Music teacher, in the flavour of a Riot Grrrl with Three Chords and the Truth. Probably not The Quincy Punk, though.

Music teacher is accepted but... heart condition? Such as? If Katawa Shoujo would factor into the explanation anywhere, no, because she would just die. :|

...Oh, Honoka-sensei and Yuki are destined for a confrontation...

Now that I think about it it wasn't a very good idea. Just going to change it completely and resubmit my character.

Umm... no, that's effectively a duplicate of a character that's already there. You've put so little detail in that the only thing that'd really distinguish them is hair colour.

You could try explaining why someone that's native Japanese has those hair and eye colours. <.<

@doi (Yes, you do, BTW): I don't know what you submitted, but if you want to have a weird hair colour, you can either have a half-breed (see Sadako, the Hyou sisters for example) or have your character dye it.

When you said my character's effectively a duplicate of another one, whose character did you mean its a duplicate of? Deadbeatloser22's Hikari Sato?

Ah. Okay then. After reading through all of the sign-up thread I thought it was either that one or Grey Star's because of the reading bit.

What was the cloned bit?

Shrinking Violet that reads was basically the sum total of the personality section. Already got people that read and shy characters, so...

Multiple shy characters also becomes increasingly hard to involve in romance.

Would my character be acceptable if I added more to personality, removed the reading and made her less shy? Like say she's not noticeably shy unless there's a lot of people(like 10 or more) paying close attention to her?

Umm... we'll see. As a last resort, find a list of youkai and stuff and go from there.

Then make it clear she's not shy, per se, she just has Performance Anxiety. :P

I changed the personality section and added more to it. Hopefully its acceptable now, otherwise I'm even worse at making character profiles than I thought.

• Name: Misaki Tanaka
• Age: 16.
• Gender: Female
• Sexuality: Lesbian.
• Appearance: Misaki is slightly above average height. Her hair reaches about halfway down her back and is dyed red. Her eyes are blue.
• Personality: She is very relaxed and easygoing, occasionally coming across as lazy, but shows a more serious side when emotionally distressed or her friends appear to be having a hard time. The only thing she's really interested in is having a good time and will do just about anything that isn't highly competitive. She is slightly shy, but it isn't very noticeable unless she is around large groups of people or incredibly nervous. She tends to be extremely trusting of other people and doesn't always notice when people are joking around with her.
• Skills: She's good at singing.
• Biography: Her family recently moved to Kansai City because her father was offered a better position in the company he works in there. So far her life has been very normal without any notable events. In school her grades are normal in everything except for history which she does exceptionally well in.
• Role: New Transfer Student

Umm... accepted? I think we might have another transfer student, but two isn't so bad.
