I'm suprised this hasn't gotten cut yet.
I don't see a problem with the name. Clean up the inapplicable tropes, call it a day.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.I shouldn't be cut, perverts are common in all level of fiction even children's cartoons has a few of them laying around.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comWe're not cutting it because it's dirty. We're considering cutting it because it's useless. The index covers everything from pedophilia and necrophilia to people who have lots of normal sex to chaste love for a patient. What is the criteria for this index?
Where did that come up? And it's not valid to mention things on an index that has a vague definition and decay.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. That was the discussion that opened the thread and the argument in the crowner's leading option.
What? Someone just suggested cutting if there weren't enough tropes to list, not for the reasons you just mentioned.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Cutting/redefining/merging, whatever. My point is that the page's problem is that it's poorly defined, not that it's dirty.
Oh, that I agree on.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Calling crowner.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerOkay, does anyone have any name suggestions?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Crowner hooked, but it's blank. Let's fill it up.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI think that reads too much like "character tropes that are perverted", which wouldn't solve the problem.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Better.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! How about Perverted Character Types?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. That might have the same issue spark has with the last one. Pervert Character-Types maybe?
Pervert Personality Types? (that might make the trope limiting.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Nothing wrong with tightening the index's scope.
Are we sticking with the word "pervert" then? How do we define "pervert"?
Quite a few of them are
- personality types,
- some are methods to be a pervert (intentional The Pornomancer or other wise Accidental Pornomancer)
- just stereotypes,
- Sexual Harrasment Tropes like The Chikan
- some of them just look perverted (Super Sex Organs aka sex organs with superpowers)...
- and more than a few I wouldn't even call them pervert tropes in most of the situations like Wife Husbandry.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'm unsure about the Pornomancer tropes. They're people who have lots of sex, and to whom everyone willingly submits. Is that perverted?
There are also a couple tropes about prostitutes. Should those be there?
This needs more votes.

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI've moved This Index Is Full of Perverts and wicks over to Tropes About Perverts and updated Renamed Tropes and the FAQ thread.
