... This is a really hard question for me.
Can I just do a top five? I'm going to do a top five.

For story: Second Sight.
For gameplay: Mount and Blade
I'm gonna try to do top 5 as well.
Mother 3. Absolutely no contest there.
If I absolutely had to pick a favourite, probably Okami.
I guess we could go... wherever we please. That's a really tough one. If I used total cumulative gameplay as the measure, it'd probably be either Team Fortress 2, Master of Orion, or Master of Magic. Of course, that's not truly indicative. I've played TF 2 for dozens of times longer than Bastion, but Bastion is far and away a better game, IMO.

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Ninja Gaiden II. When it comes down to it, it simply has the best gameplay of any game ever. Mass Effect 2 is a lot more balanced, but when it comes down to it I'll pick Ninja Gaiden over it because discovering a new quest just isn't as fun as discovering a use for a new combo.
I'm horrible at ranking games. Instead, I have different tiers.
Some games make me go, "This game is so fucking awesome."
Some games make me go, "This is a really fun game."
Some games make me go, "Eh, guess I had fun while playing it. I'd probably have preferred to get something else though."
Being told to pick a "favourite game" is an impossibility for me.
In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin. For me, it's a tie between Dungeon Keeper 2 and Creatures 3/Docking Station. The former because it's a ridiculously fun RTS, the latter because it appeals to the biologist in me.
Okami follows up those two. Great music, great gameplay, great story.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Well, I've sunk a couple of years of playtime into World Of Warcraft, but Deus Ex was the game that made me interested in the more meta aspects of gaming, and Omikron The Nomad Soul was the first game that honestly blew my mind and showed me what games are capable of.
For me, it will have to be Final Fantasy VI.
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.Heh, can't say that I have an absolute favorite game, but as of right now, I must say Dark Souls is really close to it.
Demons Souls before that.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.Gameplay? Super Mario Galaxy.
Story? That would be Okami.
Immersion? Portal 2.
Overall? Ocarina Of Time.
Team Fortress 2. I keep finding myself coming back to it.

Everyone can say "I like these kind of games" or "that kind of games", but what is exactly the one game you like better than any other ever?
