Ok.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I figured someone would care, considering Newgrounds' tropeyness.
And it's strange there wasn't a thread about this site already.

Hey, why isn't there a page for Pico and Tankmen? they are the site mascots and are highly important parts in Newgrounds history and culture. I do not have the time to go through and catalog all the Tropes from all the works, but I left links on the List Of Shows That Need Summary.

#IceBearForPresident^^ Y'know, I've been going to Newgrounds for years, and though I know all about Pico I have absolutely know idea where the Tankmen came from.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I checked out the redesign this morning and the first thing I can say is that it really showcases up front some of the artistic talent they've had there. I hope that they can pounce on more opportunities while they're still hot on the whole.
As an aside, I used to regular the forums there and I still consider it a great, not perfect, place to spend some time on the web. If I do nothing else regarding the place, I wish the staff and the contributors the best of luck in taking some fun stuff to the next stage :)

Based on the original NG logo of the guy in the tank, Johnny Utah started a series called 'TANKMEN'
Do you think you could write a page for Pico? I could do the Character Sheet if I wasn't such a procrastinator. We will also have to do something about Piconjo.

Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Double Post: Is anyone there?
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Yeah, I found it and put it on the Newgrounds page. Any suggestions for improvements, anyone?
Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.I added a bit of a larger description to the page. I'll add a few tropes examples later too, I just have to run out the door right now so I did it quickly.
Sweet! United, we can go through all of Pico's history and add the appropriate tropes to this fledgling page and even start a comprehensive Character Sheet. Maybe even Piconjo will earn a place here. Pico will prove himself Trope Overdosed in no time!

Never underestimate the importance of an open mind and compassionate heart.Anybody seen a good Flash CS 5 tutorial on here? I can't find one on Newgrounds or several other websites. You guys seen a good one on Newgrounds?
Holy crap, a Newgrounds thread!
Band together, fellow Newgrounders of the past!
H.B. Wardummm, is there a point to this necro besides your enthusiasm for Newgrounds? Maybe site news or something?
It's preferred if you don't necro just to pointlessly gush, but rather have some useful content to add. That said, this is a media forum, and we prefer that topics be maintained rather than duplicated in those.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Alright, anybody remember Crush The Castle?
No, not that game, I mean this game and its glorious sequels.
Doesn't anybody find it strange if not rather annoying that we have this gigantic powerful Angry Birds game that people actually pay money for, when all this time there's been a free Flash game series the entire time which is more creatively violent and never makes you pay for it?
There's even a Take That! item in the Crush The Castle 2 player pack called "Enraged Poultry". It's not a Lethal Joke, either. It's a pathetic and utterly useless joke.
I would make a page for Crush the Castle myself, but given my track record with attempting to create pages on TV Tropes, I'd probably just piss somebody off again, so I'm going to play it safe instead.

H.B. WardAll I remember from Newgrounds was the school shooting game and the celebrity killing game, which was how everyone in high school passed the time for a little while.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Lol.
Do you remember Salad Fingers? Surely you remember that whole thing...
H.B. WardOh man. That's more than just a little depressing.
H.B. WardFavorite Clock Day flash, anyone?

Newgrounds seems to be remodeling.
