Fate Hollow Order continues to update.
Karna and Shielder's relationship is breaking down horribly due to his Brutal Honesty and Shielder's pride, while the fic's version of the Servant Interlude miniquests for Saber begins now that he revealed his identity as Yamato-no-Orochi.
Kind of amusing how despite having basically the most "evil" of all the summoned Servants Saber is the Servant Shielder has the best relationship with, with Medea probably second best.
The newly summoned Dracula and Anderson have finished their introductions and are working on preparing Anderson's Noble Phantasm. And Anderson finally breaks Shielder's record of summoning villains/anti-heroes.
Medea's gotten a bit more trust from the Chaldea staff, finally being allowed to leave her room instead of being kept locked up because people keep taking the wrong lesson from her legend.
Uh... I'm fairly sure that Anderson qualifies as an Anti-Villain, because he kind of was on the True Final Boss' side in CCC. Sure, he's not exactly evil, but he's definitely not a good person. He had no real problem helping his master shove the planet into her vagina in CCC. He's kind of a Punch-Clock Villain. Also a sarcastic dick (which makes him freaking hilarious. He even manages to mouth off to Gilgamesh without dying instantly).
And yes, that is a thing that actually happens in CCC. It's hilariously stupid.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariYeah, there he probably counts as one but I meant more from the perspective of their legend/myth than from their role in any Fate work.

Have you actually read the stuff he wrote, and not the sanitized Disney versions?
'Cause there's a reason Nursery Rhyme takes offense to him.
He might've been a sarcastic dick in real life too.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThere was actually a scene of him reading to at least one of the Disney version (or at least a fanfic of them) of the Little Mermaid. He was...pretty annoyed.
Being a sarcastic dick isn't really that bad relatively, it's still a step down from how most of the others are portrayed by their myths.

It'd probably be enough to qualify him for anti-hero, wouldn't it?
Though teaching lessons to children is a good thing.
It's fun to think that the version with the little mermaid melting is actually better for children than the one with the happily ever after ending, because the former tells children not to be stupid, reckless or what have you or they'll have to suffer the consequences, while the latter tells them to do it, it'll be okay because the problem will be fixed anyway.
To me, the best example of this is Hansel and Gretel. When they get eaten, the story is a cautionary tale. If they escape, then it isn't.
In other words, a boombox is not a toy, listen to Julian Casablancas.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariAndersen's version teaches you you are born without a soul if you are born different, though, and then you have to work your ass off for Heaven to accept you even if you were a good person beforehand. Which is all sorts of fucked up a moral and personally I find more offensive than anything the Disney version did.
By the way, the only reason the Ugly Duckling got a happy ending? Birth 'right', since if he'd been just the same character undergoing the same circumstances but just happened to be an actual ugly duck he'd have ended up fucked instead of praised by everyone.
I don't like Andersen's views on how being born one way or another makes you more or less entitled, that's all I'm saying.
Which only supports my argument of him being a dick.
When I talk about the lessons they impart, I'm just making a joke about Disney's movies betraying the lesson they're supposed to teach. Also goddammit I was saying 'Anderson' wasn't I? I actually have him in my FGO caster Party (because he's awesome despite being a bronze servant, since he's a buffbot so his stats don't matter in the least), I shouldn't be making this mistake.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThe Ballad of Coyote Bongwater is open for business!
Unit's existence seems to have become antithetical from my, so he might have reached my insanity by going the long way around from the other side of the universe.
Oh, so it's (mostly?) Played for Laughs? Not meant to offend you, but I think you prefer more... burning things, either in temperament or hairdo. Yes, I know, bad pun. Sorry. I certainly didn't expect you to make something more... cracky. Not to said you're awful, but, well, it's like seeing Joss Whedon directing My Little Pony feature film.
All in all, uh, sorry if I'm offend you.
not going to lie that sounds funny as hell
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.The Pony franchise can get rather dark at times (mostly G1) and Whedon can do relatively light (Avengers), so it's not THAT far-fetched.
I've pretty much written for (or attempted to write for) every genre I can think of except for "slasher film" and those tangentially related to it.
EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, I haven't written for "gangster", "western", "soap opera", "mon", or "kaiju" yet.
Although the middle of those is one that I'm not even interested in.

I look forward to your story and/or quest about Wild West gangsters raising kaiju for battle.
Edit: Actually, you've totally written mon stuff. That's basically what the Fate series is.

I actually do have "Godzilla vs Junior" as a story I want to write sometime in the future, but I need to watch the rest of the Heisei series first.... -_-
Persona didn't occur to me, since Personas are extensions of the user rather than anything external.
But they're sort of like Mons for a Wild Card user. Plus, Shin Megami Tensei was doing Mons before Pokemon made it mainstream.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariWhich makes that old moral panic about pokemon being occult devilry corrupting your children extra hilarious.
Maybe some idiot got the two series mixed up.
Actually, I've heard that Red and Blue version were (and perhaps are still) banned in Saudi Arabia. Something something "brainwashing the children".
Now running Archer Quest.
