This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

On the Saints Row quotes, if the consensus is not to use The Touch then is there another quote that could be used?
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursThe summary still works. Just remove the blue links.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The Cinema Snob has two quotes. I suggest the second, since it's his Mad Libs Catch Phrase.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The Cinema Snob: Second for me as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMinion with an F in Evil has two quotes; I think neither of them is good. Unfortunately, I don't have a good suggestion for a replacement.
Let's just say and leave it at that.Minion with an F in Evil: The page doesn't provide anything interesting, either.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't believe the summary does work as it does not describe the character or the game. Is there something else that could be used?
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursSpace Clothes has two quotes,I'd stick with the top one.
New theme music also a boxYou mean the Boss talking about all the crazy stuff that happened to him/her up to that point? How is that not about the character or the game?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Minion with an F in Evil: I vote to keep the first quote on the page until a better one is found, and move the other quote to the Quotes page.
Space Clothes: Agree with keeping the first quote.
Space Clothes: First quote. The second doesn't show the trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFor one only one or two of the voice samples use it. For another it plays on Boss being a sociopath which is not the characterization in this this game. Third, those who hadn't played the previous games would not understand.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursMinion with an F in Evil: The first one is the better of the two, though, as others have noted, it's not great. But it'll work until something better is found.
My alignment is Chaotic Cute....any other opinions on Dream Weaver (as per 2044)?
Moon◊Fantastic Caste System has two quotes. I'm not exactly wowed by either, but I prefer the second one. The first is very dry.
My alignment is Chaotic Cute.Fantastic Caste System: OK with the second.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanJust as a note, whichever quote you go with, both are referred to as the page's quote in their respective examples in the body of the page; you'll need to update the example of the quote that's pulled to not claim it has the page quote any longer.
Moon◊The references need to go anyway. There are many reasons for this, but above all it's because even a perfectly good quote will occasionally get replaced.
As for the Saint's Row Boss quote, having mulled it over a bit, I think it's best to pull it completely. It doesn't make much sense without the potholes, and apparently it doesn't fit as neatly as I thought. The lyrics don't really mean anything to me, so those can definitely go. Also, it's irrelevant whether every player hears a particular line or not; if a quote works, it works.
This happened because Tim had made a mistake.Referring to the page quote (or image) in the example is bad form anyway. I had to Google a Back to the Future example several months ago to fill it out, since all it did was refer to the page quote -which had been changed, and at that point, I didn't know to look on the quotes page.
I also came across another about three months ago where the example was: "Name of Work. See page quote". (ow) I copied the quote down to the entry, since it was a good example in its own right.
Fantastic Caste System: The second's fine by me.
Um, post 2044 is about Labyrinth...
Space Clothes: The first.
Staying out of Saints Row because I don't have clue about it.

The song quote for "Dream Weaver" should work nicely.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettMinion with an F in Evil has been dealt with as suggested.
Let's just say and leave it at that.Instant Seduction is waaaaay too long. The example listed under jokes might work.
My alignment is Chaotic Cute.Better than the current for a page quote, at least. Although the one already on the page should go to the quotes tab.

What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
I second that!
