This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Much prefer the Sequential Art caption.
625, the Garderbelt quote sounds more like a description of the perfect day scenario. The Sequential Art quote describes the trope, states the problem about it, and why people don't care which is humorous.
Curbstomp Battle has two quotes, and I'm not really a fan of either. There are plenty of replacement candidates on the quotes page; I think we should use one of those instead.
I agree.
"We're talking about four machines. You can't call this mess a 'war'; this is a 'one-sided butt-kicking fiasco'." — AEU Big Shot, Gundam 00
"Two million dead in the first day, another 7 million by the end of the first week, every defense annihilated, all our forces on the run. Regrouping... Somewhere... Reports are coming in from other major cities. It's a well-coordinated attack, and so far it's been damned effective." — Major Coates on the Reaper invasion, Mass Effect 3
I like those two myself.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I love the curb-stomp song. Plus that guy is happy to have the inflow he gets from it (I believe he's a troper). I highly suggest we keep the quote from the song that is NAMED after the trope.
Btw, listening to the song, that refrain is an Ear Worm.
Alternate: Every verse of the song is about a curb-stomp. Just give it a listen and pick a few lines.

Prefer the Mass Effect quote. The Gundam one isn't too clear to people who don't know why the bots in question are one man armies or whatever it is.
I have a feeling no one is going to agree with me...
Mass Effect for me as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPosted this a long time ago but didn't get any responses:
Counterpart Comparison: The quote is just someone getting another character's name wrong. In context, it's not an example at all since they're not compared. Out of context, it's just My Name Is Not Durwood and makes it sound like the trope is about the character's reaction to being called someone else's name, which isn't exactly part of the trope.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yeah, that is clearly the wrong trope unless you know the works. Delete it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgree with deleting.
Robot Roll Call has two. It's an index, actually. I'd probably like it without a quote. Don't know why.

If we keep one of them, use the Futurama one. The other is overly long, has a lot of chaff and doesn't talk much about robots.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgree with cutting the quote from Counterpart Comparison and using the Futurama quote for Robot Roll Call.
I've cut the MST3 quote (Robot Roll Call). Counterpart Comparison cut was already executed.

Here is a quote I added myself some time ago, but I am somehow unsatisfied with it. Perhaps cut it short and use the first part? Or should I burn it all? Or any other ideas? Shot to the Heart.
edit: Comfort Food has two. I kind of like both, but I lean towards the first.

The Shot to the Heart quote is a little clumsy, but it works. I'm not crazy about either quote on Comfort Food, as neither actually addresses the specific food that's creating the comfort.
Agree with both.
Beeping Computer: two quotes. The second seems better, but I also think we might be able to do better.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.First one. The second is longer and looks like it's complaining about the trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBut the first one isn't really about computers, which is why I'm hoping someone has a better suggestion...
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.I don't think either of them are good.
Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
Supporting quote antiport. The current looks kind of complainy anyway.
