The phrase "LOL". 9 times out of 10 the person who wrote it didn't laugh out loud so why put it?

I hate it when people say internet acronyms out loud.

Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.

I hate it when instead of writing something like "I should have gone to the store", they write "I should of gone to the store."

Refers to catching game or birds or the like, simply the one you have is worth equal to two out of reach. A proverb saying more or less to quit while you're ahead. Like don't drop what you have because you see something better.

Or something.

The full saying is "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". So, yeah, basically it means "Don't give up things that you already have, to chase after a slightly better thing that you might get."

Be not afraid...

I mostly see this in IM conversations with my friends, but "mfw". Especially when it's just those three letters in response to something. What about your face? It's an imcomplete thought. COMPLETE THE FRIGGIN' SENTENCE. Or post a picture of a face to accompany it. ARGH.

@juan: The Doctor is implying that a straightforward and motivational expression like "Allons-y!" can give a person the confidence and power of will/spirit to overcome great obstacles they would have otherwise believed to be insurmountable.

"God works in mysterious ways" or "God has a plan for everyone". Phrases like these make me want to choke a bitch. So you mean to tell me that all the sick, twisted shit that happens to people in this world is all just part of the plan, that it's God's way of caring for us? Frankly, I'd rather believe in no God than some malicious, omnipotent tyrant who is either indifferent to our pain or actively causes it.

I dislike it when people do the >image board quote thing outside of image boards.

Yeah, yeah, >my face when etc. etc. now watch as I type out incomplete sentences and use this as an excuse to do so. It's dumb enough seeing it in message boards, quit shitting up everywhere else.

@0dd1 Turns out, it's not. Nor is it "Molesting French Women" or "Marsupial Flame War".
