No, he means the girl in the pile with the bullet in her head.

I honestly don't know who that is, actually.

Actually, I think it's supposed to be [[Batwoman Alice.]] I hope this means we'll be seeing some Kate Kan Batwoman. Actually, I just wanna see more of the Bat Family we haven't seen animated like Spoiler.

Not sure of the show nmyself, but here's a nice piece of casting: it's been revealed that Kurtwood Smith will be voicing Jim Gordon and the show will be set during Batman's early days.

I have seen a lot of Youtube comments from fans that say that they want Harley Quinn to appear in this cartoon. Now since the producers officially announced that they will not be doing a Joker story, the inclusion of Harley will be hard to do.

idea

wild mass guessMaybe if a Harleen Quinzel with a fear of clowns were to interview Scarecrow, he might start using Hannibal Lectures (like he always does to his psychiatrists) to slowly subdue her and rub off on her. Perhaps as a side effect, she would develop an obsession over her fear of clowns and adopt a clown persona as a result.

Harley just wouldn't be Harley if her madness wasn't caused caused by the Joker.

They're not planning on doing a Joker story? How long do they plan on having this show be?

The more I hear about this one the stranger it seems.

They could always just put her with Ivy. That's what Static Shock did.

Maybe they will mention a late criminal as responsible for deluding Harley. Joker would probably need to be mentioned at least once. You have a point.

But...how can you do a Batman series without The Joker!?!?

Not liking the sound of this series more and more.

I think they just meant that they were going to focus on more obscure villains, like Prof. Pyg. It doesn't necessarily mean they're not going to do a Joker story ever, they just aren't planning on it.

^^^^ But they were able to do that because she was just guest appearing. It wasn't a Batman show. And plus, at that point Static was in the DCAU (sorta) and in the DCAU Harley had already been introduced in Batman The Animated Series.

I know very little about it so it's hard to judge it. but the fact that alfed will do more than butler it up, sounds good.

I think I once read a blurb saying that "in addition to classic villains like the Joker and the Penguin, Batman will be mostly fighting all new (for animation, at least) villains".

Sorry if someone mentioned it before, but is it possible that Katana will be a Composite Character of Cassandra Cain and the original Katana? Looking at that promo picture, Katana's costume reminds me more of Cass' various costumes. Katana usually wears more ornate and armored up clothing.

Anarky, huh? I hope they retain the moral ambiguity of the character instead of making him an out and out villain.

Also, Magpie! I really loved that girl.

The face looks alot less awkward in actual animation than it does in the promotional material.

That speech seems a bit Punisher-like?

Also one of the villains is Anarky.

This has probably been said already; but I heard Anarky and Mr. Toad will be in the show.

Anarky is pretty cool, but I found it ironic he was stated to be one of the leaders of the criminal underworld.

As for Mr. Toad...his portrayal should be interesting since in the comics, he appeared once and then quickly died. I'm pretty sure Joker did him in.

Anyone think they'll be able to turn Magpie into a big threat or bring in other Grant Morrison Bat-villains? I wouldn't mind seeing the creepy school that makes daughters of criminals into Femme Fatale supervillains.

Also, I hope that they balance obscure villains with classic and more well-known ones. If a whole season goes by without one Batman vs Joker episode, I will be disappointed. I know there are a lot of Joker stories, but I feel he is too awesome to just drop out of the story.

And I just troped the Beware The Batman page.
