Both look good, although if possible the inner pentagons/triangles can go, they're kinda overkill.
And for variety, here's the diamond.
Hey Sal Fish Fin? What font did you use? It works really well for these graphs, makes them seem videogame/comicbook-y.
I think you can do to add a few more stats to the Mario shape.
Here's a couple that can be found in various games, but you don't have to use them all:
- Luck
- Resistance
- Skill
- Constitution
- Dexterity
- Charisma
- Wisdom
EDIT: It's called Digital Strip. Free download from Blambot.

I like the triangles, but you'll want to fix the outer level regardless of what the maximum is. If you don't, the ratios look screwy.
Fight smart, not fair.Like The pentagon, but the Lightning Bruiser needs range reduced significantly, and The Mario needs everything toned down.
I TELL YOU HWAT!Here's some refining. I couldn't load the font yet, but I'll give it a try tomorrow. As to the values, I think this would be a good time to pick A. How many variables we want B. Which they will be C. What those values will be in terms of scale (1-3 or 1-5 scale, etc) and finally D. Pick the values for the tropes.

I checked and the table markup does work in the forums. So this:
||align=center border=1 width=100%
|| || Attack || Speed || Defense ||
|| FragileSpeedster || 2 || 5 || 1 ||
Becomes this:
||align=center border=1 width=100%
Attack | Speed | Defense | |
Fragile Speedster | 2 | 5 | 1 |
I've been using the following values for the triangles:
||align=center border=1 width=100%
Attack | Speed | Defense | |
Fragile Speedster | 2 | 5 | 1 |
Glass Cannon | 5 | 2 | 1 |
Lightning Bruiser | 4 | 4 | 4 |
The Mario | 3 | 3 | 3 |
Mighty Glacier | 4 | 1 | 4 |
Stone Wall | 2 | 2 | 5 |
And I've been using the following values for the pentagons:
||align=center border=1 width=100%
Ranged Attack | Melee Attack | Speed | Defense | HP | |
Fragile Speedster | 2 | 2 | 5 | 1 | 1 |
Glass Cannon | 5 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
Lightning Bruiser | 2 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
The Mario | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
Mighty Glacier | 2 | 4 | 1 | 4 | 3 |
Stone Wall | 2 | 2 | 2 | 5 | 5 |

I like the triangle ones. Do we even need the numbers on the images? Better not get too precise...

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I don't think we need numbers, but we do need the layer dividers.
Fight smart, not fair.The Mario kind of has this sort of pic already. I'd prefer if we could get in-game screenshots along the same line.
Rhymes with "Protracted."The Mario may end up getting renamed...I'd prefer the general graphs, myself.
This thread's been inactive for a bit, but it seems we've got a general consensus. The one thing I'd like to know before going ahead and making the pics is if we want to go with the triangles (with the stats Attack, Defense and Speed) or the pentagons (with the stats Melee, Range Attack, Defense, HP, and Speed).
Edit: I can make one for The Mario and park it in an Image Links page in case it isn't renamed.

I lean toward the pentagons.
I'd say the different shapes for each are best. Cuts off the extraneous stats. We don't need to know the Stone Wall 's luck stat; it has nothing to do with being a Stone Wall.
Hm, good point. It's entirely possible to add them as needed. The Mario should probably have all of them though.
Fight smart, not fair.Oh, we can have lots of fun with Mario. Dodecagons, anyone?
Do you mean having triangles for some of them and pentagons for the others? Doable. Would it be:
- Fragile Speedster - Triangle
- Glass Cannon - Triangle
- Lightning Bruiser - Pentagon
- The Mario - Bigagon
- Mighty Glacier - Triangle
- Stone Wall - Pentagon
I like the graphs. They're nice and clear.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The second set of graphs is uncropped and closer to what they'd look like on the page. I'll put up the pentagons in a bit.
These guys were shrunk for viewing convenience.
And this one would be full size. Edit: Ahhh... just ignore the part that says "Área del Gráfico."

I object to the entire idea of using graphs. I can understand why you'd want to do it; Having a common theme for pictures demonstrating a set of related tropes is always neat. However, most of those pages have perfectly fine illustrations already. Replacing them would make the wiki slightly less varied and slightly more boring to look at. I don't think it's worth it.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.- Stone Wall could be cut down to the bottom tenth of its pic and bring forth the same information. A graph would be an improvement over this.
- Mighty Glacier has a big Muscley guy. Doesn't say much else. What if he's able to jump hella high? Falling is pretty fast, innit?
- Lightning Bruiser has a tank doing a wheelie. Meh.
- Glass Cannon has... a literal glass cannon.
- Fragile Speedster has nothing.
- The Mario is the only one that's good, and even then, if we're changing 4 to graphs about stats, and The Mario is almost set for a rename, why not change the image while we're at it?
I say leave The Mario alone, and if anyone can find similar, in-game stat screens for the other tropes, use those instead. But the graphs are better than what's up for the rest.
- Stone Wall: A literal stone wall is a bad way to demonstrate. Aren't there any cards from MTG or something similar that depict slow and bulky creatures in defensive positions?
- Mighty Glacier: I think the current is decent, but... There has to be some war-themed sci-fi/fantasy franchise somewhere that features giant slugs/turtles/whales outfitted with cannons, right?
- Lightning Bruiser: What? That picture is great! The caption could be improved, though.
- Glass Cannon: Yeah, this one should probably be replaced. I've actually made a picture that might work◊, but it was quite a while ago so it's ugly as eff.
- Fragile Speedster: I think there should be some picture of the scout from Team Fortress 2 that could demonstrate this. Here's one suggestion.
- The Mario: Yeah, that one is fine as it is.

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Fragile Speedster had a long ass Image Pickin' with multiple Scout images suggested. Most of them didn't look the part very well.
Fight smart, not fair.
Here's the triangles, I'm limiting it to three to cut down on space in the thread. Good news, the Bruiser triangle/pentagon can be doctored to make the upper limit more visible, which will help The Mario.
