Ghost ship is intact.
Yes, kids, Chuck Darwin did not always have a long white beard. Gaze at his clean-shaven visage in fear and wonder.
Oddly enough, I happened upon a bit of concept art - Here it is, just scroll down a bit - and it seems as though the early plan for Darwin was to depict him as the Cool Old Guy from our biology and/or history textbook. I'm glad they didn't go that route, though; to get my friends interested in this movie, all I had to say was, "Hey, did you know David Tennant is in this?"
Also, Napoleon model at the bottom of this page. I'm tellin' ya, they could totally do it if they get the green light! YA HEAR THAT, AARDMAN?

Looking for some stories? They changed it because there's this Leper Awareness organization.... you get the gisz.
So, this is out now.
Is it any good? I'm too low on funds to see it at the moment, but I might eventually.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Oh my God, I simply have to post this. It's a review of the film by a website about Darwin, and it focuses on the anachronisms. Which end up being okay, because...oh, just read it.
Is it okay to put "Darwin is a Time Lord" on the WMG page now? Because I've been wanting to do that.

Looking for some stories?Heck! I would have done that eons ago. So go ahead.
So every anachronism can be handwaved by "X is a Time Lord?" Fine by me!

Blocked where I'm at. What's it a pic of?
Gender Swapped Pirate Captain, Darwin, and Pirate With A Scarf.
that was Darwin? I thought it was cervices.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Who in the movie is named Cervices?
-giggles- Darwin certainly looks cute. Now we'll wonder why guys don't swarm around her!
The one with the fake beard.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Darwin makes the best girl, IMO. Probably because I found him kind of womanly to begin with.
Scarf looks all right. Pirate Captain just looks creepy.
Shall now wait for Gender Swapped Victoria to appear.

Still waiting for some R-34.
Patience, patience...
Looking for some stories?Just saw it with my sis, and it was better than expected! I want to get it now (and yet, I still haven't bought Lorax or paid off Rescuers).
Highlights:
- The stuffed bear when the Moai head hit it. Its expression changed! XD
- The lampshading at the end for both the ho yay and the crossdresser.
- The discovery that Pirate Captain made.
- Albino—he was dubbed over, and that bothered me, but I still enjoyed both him and the film except when he called Captain a loser.
- Queen Victoria's (Vyctoria? I forget) reasoning for her disliking pirates and the scene that surrounds that moment.
- The ho yay between Captain and Number Two.
- Seeing a panda in the film (that wasn't dead).
- The female pirate.
- The song after Captain's crew left him.
- The score
- Finally! Some Rule 34 of Captain! In the credits, no less.
- The constant squid jokes following in the footsteps of the ribbon one.
- The Queen's portrait gag.
- The Frankenweenie trailer
- Last but not least, the Darwin beard gag.
So yeah. Gotta get me this film. Hopefully, it'll do what Arrietty is doing with the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and release both the original and redubbed tracks on the same Blu-ray disc.

Bah. I'm a better pirate.
Of course I don't have a ship.
Or a crew.
Or treasure maps.
Or treasure.
But I'm still better!
Yo ho ho and a bottle of fizzy-pop! (Mum won't let me have rum)What was there in the credits, anyway? I stayed for the epilogue vignettes, but not the whole thing.
Looking for some stories? There was the baby clothes sign, I <3 Ham, the trio portrait of Captain with Polly and Two, wanted pictures of the Captain and Liz, the last portrait gag of the Queen, a painting of the crew at a hot tub, and an image of the Captain laying down shirtless, along with some hung heads of (I think) the remaining living animals at the end of the movie. There was definitely more, I just don't remember beyond a painting of Darwin doing... something.
The main page's tropes Sweet Polly Oliver and Sweet on Polly Oliver hint that Pirate Captain might be a little into Number Two! *eeeek*
-ahem- I'm sorry, I don't know why I did that.
When does the Blu-ray/DVD get released? I went to Moviestop and there's no date for it yet, so I'm thinking you lucky Britons might have one, hopefully.
I know. I put those there.
I'm surprised they weren't there sooner. This movie has the most blatant Ho Yay I've seen since X-Men: First Class.
The US doesn't have a release date for the DVD/Blu-ray scheduled yet, but I think I read that the UK will be getting it on September 24th.

Looking for some stories?
I haven't seen the movie yet, so I didn't know the "left arm" part was changed or added in.
The ghost ship part's intact, though, right?
Also, le gasp that that is Charles Darwin.
