Some tropers (myself included) have been moving works from the Main/ namespace to the appropriate namespace. Unfortunately, some of these moves were done without the wicks being corrected to reflect the new namespaces.
There are more wicks than any one person could handle, so I'm posting here in hopes of getting help. Here is a list of pages that have been moved and need their wicks corrected. (Let me know if you spot any others, and I'll add them to the list.)
EDIT: The list has been moved to Administrivia.Wick Namespace Migration.
Add completed moves in Completed Namespace Migrations.

I can't speak for Fast Eddie, but I'd expect his answer would be "the predominant medium".
Let's just say and leave it at that.Slayers will also need to be changed for the Light Novel index. I'm editing the description now.
Damn, you guys work fast.
Jicragg, I'd say Roger Rabbit and Space Jam would be Live Action, as they're "cartoon people added onto real settings" not "real people added onto cartoon settings".

Actually, I did ask about the Disney/ namespace, and it's confirmed to be for Disney Animated Canon material. At least, this is what I could see of it...
IIRC: The Phantom Tollbooth would indeed be under literature; if its film adaptation were to have its own page, it would be WesternAnimation/ because most of it did take place in the animated world. We only see RL people towards the end of Happy Feet, so WesternAnimation/. As for The Pink Panther (the film), I can hardly remember anything aside from the opening credits that is animated, so Film/. There is a cartoon series for The Pink Panther though, so it can have its own WesternAnimation/ namespace.
Osmosis Jones is a strange example indeed... what to do about that...

It was me that updated the Namespace Map, but now I must admit that I didn't have a source for this, it's just what I then believed. I PMed shimaspawn about it and the answer is All Disney animated films.
Changing the Namespace Map again to reflect this. I hope nobody has actually moved around works because of my error.
Let's just say and leave it at that.Huh... fortunately I haven't moved any Disney/ namespace work yet...
So that would include Pixar films and the shorts, yes?

About the contents of the Disney/ namespace: I frankly don't know. "All Disney animated films" is what shimaspawn told me, but I didn't ask for more details.
Personally, I'd guess that Disney shorts are alright there, but I have no idea about Pixar films, or Disney characters.
Let's just say and leave it at that.Ugh... it seems quite a few works have gathered Main/ wicks since their placement on the completed list. And in retrospect, it seems like placing new-or-yet-to-be-released anticipated works on the completed list isn't a great idea... Mass Effect 3 sure gathered new wicks rather quickly.

Sure. Go this thread, though it's been a few days since the last reply. Feel free to add a draft of the "please namespace" message to the sandbox page.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going..

Yeah... and sorry about seeming perfectionist through the post and my actions, although around that time I spared everything with 20 or less such wicks...

I now go by Graf von Tirol. To the attention of Earl Of Sandvich in particular:
I wake up this morning to see that the Tokimeki Memorial article was moved to the Visual Novel tab.
1) A few posts before, I explained that was a Franchise article, and thus would need a Franchise tab (that's currently in discussion on Wiki Talk), as I'm on my way to write several articles for different Tokimemo games, anime and visual novels. As such, may you please explain me why did you rush for moving the article? This is confusing me very much.
2) If you really want to move the article somewhere in the meanwhile, Visual Novel isn't the good tab. Please move it to the Video Games tab. This is because Tokimeki Memorial is originally and primary a Dating Sim series, not a Visual Novel one.
For the note: I'm not against moving articles, and I'm perfectly willing to help moving wicks for articles on my watch that are moved (I did it for Twinbee and Mitsumete Knight). I just need some explanations regarding this one, as its situation isn't as clear as the aforemented other two articles, and unlike the other two, it has a non-negligible wick count of +400.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeNote from Wiki Talk:
All multimedia franchise pages must be put into a /Franchise/ namespace, and /WebOriginal/ must be split into /Website/, /WebVideo/, /Blog/, /Podcast/, /WebAnimation/ and /LetsPlay/. Thank you.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDoes Video Games Awesome qualify as Let's Play?
I'd say it would.
Understood.
EDIT: Rhyme wasn't intended...

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Questions like that are more suited for the pinned Wiki Talk thread.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe Let's Play page explains what the term refers to. I've never seen the series in question so I can't say whether it fits.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Anyways, just inserted a few formerly-Web Original works on the list.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.General question: I keep finding works that have been moved to Anime but should be under Manga (e.g., Kimi to Boku), probably because they were written up based on the anime and no-one checked to see if that was the origin. I don't have time to do moves right now, can I flag these for attention somehow or should I make a to-do and wait until I have time again? (I still don't understand the sandbox page.)
Also, if people are still namespacing anime/manga, please doublecheck the source before moving! We seem to have many more anime watchers than manga readers here, many works are described on their page as anime but started as manga.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.Couldn't some of the Web Original stuff also end up in Machinima?
