I can't see it.

What a shrimp lol.
You gotta start somewhere. Was that dumb kid following Kevin supposed to be playable in that, or is that just a sprite showcase?
Huh, that's a shame- If nothing else, Joe breaking the traditions of Muay Thai by training a female apprentice characterizes him a bit.
I sure said that!Marky mark? I think it was just his sprite. Honestly him following Kevin is like, the only interesting thing about Kevin. Guy is probably the most boring character in GMOTW.
Theory: Terry and andy are the biological children of Geese Howard, making them older half brothers to Rock. In typical Geese fashion, he abandoned them and their biological mother, who ended up dying.

Are you kidding? Kevin is one of the most awesome and fun characters in all of Garou. He's got a colorful, bombastic, and charismatic personality, some awesome moves, and is even S tier to boot. What's not to like?
Hein is confirmed Badass Biker for his sport forte
There are enough people into bikes in KOF that they could start their own gang at this point.
Say, has SNK made a Queen of Fighters spin-off of KOF? You'd think they'd try to compete with DOA's beach/tropical-themed fanservice spin-off series by launching their own version starring the KOF girls.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. They did, yes, but it was on the Neo Geo Pocket so any titillation they might of been able to get out of it was lost.
A cross dressing Iori was also the final boss.

But I thought Yuki was the final boss...
You gotta start somewhere. No, she was the secret character. Miss X was the final boss.
I sure said that!Pretty sure Gals Fighter predates DOA by many years. And it was more of a joke game anyway.
I mean, I heard there was mechanic where if both characters ran at each other, they would engage in a Big Ball of Violence styled Cat Fight.
Is that a game that sounds like it takes itself seriously?
One Strip! One Strip! So casual matches for KOFXIV at Evo have started up, and thanks to that, we're starting to get a bevy of videos from it showing off the characters that haven't gotten an official reveal yet, including Alice, Meitenkun, Loveheart and Kensou, though the rest of the cast still gets plenty of time to shine as well. I'll put up the first video here, but you can see more videos here if you want more, and you can watch the full Evo stream here if you're interested. Anyhoo, here's some Alice, Meintunkun, and Kensou for you:

What the heck
Alice's English is actually really good. I think she's voiced by player 2's announcer, who's English is also pretty good.
Zarina's ginga is as terrible as I expected

I never liked Ryan, and in the hands of a skilled player he makes the game extremely unfun. He's Garou's resident buzzkill. His theme and stage were cool though.
Alice looks nice. She's a big fangirl and is a better hodgepodge fighter than say,Honoka from DOA. Pillow kid I'm not feeling really too yet.

You can really tell that a Chinese company is running KOF now what with all the (almost uniformly phenomenal) Chinese characters added in this one. I really like Meitenkun so far - seems like a very atypical male fighting game character. His Kung Fu reminds me of Jackie Chan's and Lei Wulong's, too.
Honestly I'm not all that crazy about Team China yet, in fact they're coming dangerously close to being my least favorite "hero" team so far, but Mian's team is looking very interesting.
I worry pillow kid will fall into being too tropey and defined by his sleeping gimmick, but SNK are quite good in avoiding that which I hope can happen for him as well.
Meitenkun too cute
I hope they actually explain his Anime Hair as just really bad bedhead
For anyone interested, here's Loveheart's Climax:
That is literally the aircraft carrier from Marvel 3
And we all know that Capcom owns all the rights to all the aircraft carriers everywhere. SNK is gonna go right back under the table if they continue with this blatant copyright infringement.
Also, someone compiled some of the better combos from the newer characters, though there are some Benimarus and Kims in there too.
Oh, and we also get Xanadu's victory shot, where he initially seems to look happily into the distance and just stay there like everyone else... before near instantly noticing someone or something else and staring straight at the player. Xanadu is terrifying, though in the best way possible.

She's the 3rd on the bottom row◊
I just watched the 3 Fatal Fury movies and they were actually surprisingly decent? I mean for a 90s fighting game adaptation they actually had some solid production values(moreso the 2nd and 3rd movie) and some of the animation was pretty epic.
Legend of the Hungry Wolf was okay(no idea why Andy's hair is blue though) but the Geese finish was pretty disappointing. The New Battle was an improvement in every way as Krauser was a better villain(despite the curious lack of his mustache), the fight choreography and animation was much more dynamic and watching Terry turn into a homeless drunk after getting curbstomped by Krauser while depressing was pretty funny. Plus they actually got Andy's hair right. The Motion Picture had made up villains not from the game but they were effective enough I guess and this one had some pretty impressive animation and fights, along with some pretty brutal moments too. The story was serviceable if cliche, and it actually does a good job on connecting the past two movies. Motion Picture also turns up the fanservice(not just girls either) to pretty hilarious levels. Despite being a jobber, Joe is pretty cool in the films and Andy even gets a couple of badass moments. But boy oh boy did kim get hit with the nerf bat. Even in what was supposed to be his Crowning Moment Of Awesome he gets his ass kicked.
I wouldn't say any of them quite reach SF 2 the movie levels of good but they're certainly better than the Art of Fighting movie(AYYYAAHH!) and Tekken.
