Mella's read enough comics to know that that sounds like a recipe for disaster, and anyway if she had money she'd rather spend it on more comics. she doesn't need the judgement she'd get from her very anti drugs friend, or her semi-adoptive grandmother.

Lane exists in the DC universe. Lane is not stupid. Lane chills with the Flash. Lane's not /touching/ aaannnnnnyyyything like that, noooooo way. She probably targets whoever is producing it though, and man are they going to regret their life choices.

your character finds proof that a loved one they thought was dead is alive and in trouble. said proof vanishes and no one will believe them. what do?

People already think Charlie is mad. He doesn't care if a few more join the bandwagon; as long he knows inside that he's right, he won't stop talking for anyone.

Heron is terrified. This means they could have found the recipe for the elixir, and he doesn't want anyone going through what he's going through. He hasn't had a real "loved one" for a very long time, at least 100 years, so something very fishy's going on.

Your character is dead. Does anyone miss them? Who mourns, who doesn't.

An entire /country/ mourns for Mella, she's a kid and she was a hero. actually probably two countries, because I mean she was on the news a lot on earth/ in the US, poor kid mysteriously vanished, showed up a month and a half later....and then she's one of the heroes of Celravoc. so yeah. lots.

Lane is mourned and missed by few. Lori, Chuck, the rest of her crime fighting team. but she's reserved and stays out of things and her team's the only friends or family she's got, honestly.

No one but a few close friends mourn for Takashi, since he was so bitter and cycnical.

Most people who knew him (save for his enemies) mourn for Haruki.

Your character is faced with a choice between two alternatives: either they can marry their perfect, once-in-a-lifetime match, or they can become the richest person in existence, with more than enough money to fulfill all their needs and desires for all eternity. Which do they pick?

Markus rolls with the former; money is essentially a triviality anyhow, and let's be honest, being hugely rich is a surprisingly corruptibg influence.

Ajax laughs at this choice and declines both. Mad as a hatter and immensely psychopathic to boot? Yup. Capable of caring for anyone, herself included? Nup.

Your character is given evidence by a friend or coworker implicating another friend/coworker in a significant crime. What do they do with said evidence?

Mella if it's a coworker, goes to her friends for help dealing, and turns it in to the police. if it's a friend, Mella shows them, because she thinks it's a frame up.

Lane confronts the coworker on her own, budding vigilante that she is. if it's a friend, she goes to them all because this could get them all in hot water.

Usko tries not to look at the evidence, buries it in the deepest hole he can find with concrete, and then goes to the nearest bar for some Laser-Guided Amnesia. (The reason being, it's probably Tavi who gave it to him, and the crimes she would be forced to leave implicating evidence behind for would probably have cosmic and/or theological ramifications.)

Your dude is a bad enough dude to enter a highly secure location without getting caught, but now has to get out. It's unmanned, but your dude can't leave behind any evidence of their presence or their mission. Also, another group, highly trained and with a full loadout, is infiltrating at the same time. What do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO?

Your character awakens in a desolate town square where a mysterious man on an intercom informs them that the fancy new collar on your character's neck is a bomb they will trigger if your character doesn't do what they say. What your character's captor wants is this: they want your characer to break into a high tech casino filled with nigh-invulnerable monsters and steal the money locked in its vault.

Jani simply refuses to go through with the ultimatum, and accepts the consequences. Besides, the guy who did it to him would probably just blow him up anyway once the job was done (he never said he'd let him go afterward, did he?).

Your character finds a portal in their own backyard which leads into the heart of their arch-enemy's domain, but is unaware if the portal works both ways. What does your character do?

Heron has the Touch of Death. He's got this.

Zehra knows there is something fishy going on. She goes nowhere near the portal.

Your character has the choice of confronting their worst fear and gaining Immortality or avoiding it and dying within the year.

Jani realizes that immortality is overrated and spends the next year doing what he wants. He dies relatively happy.

Your character has the chance to meet the person at the top of their bucket list. Who do they choose to meet?

Feyte and Jessasi have actually both met those people.

For Feyte, it was the head of her order, who she sees frequently anyway.

For Jessasi, it was another criminal who was her hero as a child. He tried to kill her. It did not end well. For him.

Your character meets a being that offers them near limitless power of whatever sort they need to accomplish their main goals. The only downside is that it will slowly consume their soul so to speak, eventually leaving them as an Empty Shell if not outright killing them. Do they take the deal and if so what happens?

Markus would decline; he's a great believer in the old "power corrupts" saying.

Ajax would happily accept, partly from morbid curiosity and partly from drive to succeed... except she wouldn't end up soulless. She already is. Born as a Blank, or Null - a person with no soul, no psychic presence - tends to result in psychopathy. She has this is spades - soul-eating entities/abilities are laughable at that stage.

Your character encounters a highly cryptic note from someone (signing as) an old friend or coworker. It states that your character has been targeted for assassination. How does your character react?

For Peter that's Terry Yates. He's always had a crush on him, but never understood/feared his feelings and took them out in the form of cruelty against Terry and pretty much anyone else. Finally admitting his feelings and getting together with Terry would do wonders for Peter. As indicated when Peter and his friends went to an alternate universe where he and Terry were Happily Married, complete with a white picket fence and two adorable pugs. The alternate Peter was a philanthropist and public speaker, much to Alpha!Peter's bitter chagrin and annoyance.

Your character finds themselves in possession of a time machine capable of short (i.e. it can only travel backwards or forwards in time by a couple weeks) in time.

Instantly, she deems someone, anyone, of interest constructed this. So it doesn't fall into any hands other than she could trust, she destroys it with her gravity powers. She picks up any unusual scraps, sighing.

Stark: Definitely finding whoever made this. I mean; "HEY, I MADE SOMETHING SCIENTIST CRY THEMSELVES TO STUDYING MORE OVER, I'LL JUST LEAVE IT!" You're crazier than me!

Your character's abilities overload, leaving them to have little control than they did. It gets worse over time, at the point they decide they have to be rid of them forever. Do they take the risk?

If Heron had any way of getting rid of his Touch of Death, he would. He considered his power to be more of a curse than anything else. Heron would be less likely to want to give up his Immortality.

Your character gets a call from an old friend, who they haven't spoken too since a bitter feud several years before. The friend says they are dying and would like the other character to stay with them at their bedside. Does your character accept?

Heron accepts, not because he wants to win the battle (he knows that Charlie and Rosalind would continue fighting) but because he's afraid of death. He knows this person is bad news, but his fear of death trumps any deal he might have to make with this man.

Kiarn does it with little to no hesitation. Afterwords, she feels strong regret but is ultimately sure she made the right choice.

Mallena tries to find a way to get out of it- reasoning with the other version or Taking a Third Option. But if she has no choice, she'll do it without too much angst. She's a soldier, after all, and she's killed before. The fact that its an alternate version of her makes it harder, but no different in excicution.

Your character is visiting someone they don't want to offend and eats food that must have been spoiled. They're now vomiting in the bathroom.

Mella uses the magic ring she has to teleport back to the fantasy world she heped save a few months back, hoping that the portal spell is still linked to the Palace Library and not the forest, because traveling via portal tends to knock one out and she's hurting. But that's better than her lost and stuck and hurt in this alleyway, as far as she's concerned.

Lane doesn't, escape that is. She just grits her teeth and deals. she'll be healed in a couple minutes from her healing factor, unless it's a missing limb (that'll take a day or so) and she's pretty well acquainted with the alleyways, and she's fought under worse situations. Really it's worse for anyone who thinks she's an easy target. just cuz she's 5 feet tall doesn't mean her superstrength can't dent solid steel, and if she's hurt, she's probably flashbacking, and anyone who doesn't fall into the "Ally" or "person in need of my protection" catagory is going to regret getting near her.
