Morgan should have no bias against Tagg. I don't think they've met.

Samantha, IIRC, rather likes Tagg.

Diane doesn't mind Tagg. Alyssa is slightly scared of him but not to the point of unforgivability. Vierr would look up to him as a mentor if they were around each other enough. Sarah's the only one who can't fogive him.

Wolf actively avoids Tagg if he can, but that has nothing to do with his reputation. That's because of their various disagreements, and being pretty sure Tagg doesn't like him very much.

Katie doesn't have any particular issue with him. They just don't really hang out.

I assume that means Wolf still hasn't thanked Tagg for saving DS' life back when the J-Team were in Orre, then?

No. I've been avoiding any situation where I'd have to talk about Wolf and DS' relationship until we can do their conversation from just after Wolf got back.

Well, just when are we going to do that, then? I have homework and stuff to do, and while I don't want to be left out of this, I don't really feel like looking at the RP right now, since it'll just be more depressing reminders about why I don't fit in here at all.

Do you want to do it as a spag post? We could do it ourselves and I could post it. Maybe on a weekend when you're not so busy.

Or I can just infer it to the other characters and leave it as a private moment off-screen.

I've mentioned Samantha. Joseph has no quarrel with Tagg pretty much whatever, but Joe'd probably grate on Tagg after a while.

I've not interacted with RP!Tagg, really, but I agree on the flanderisation being annoying.

By the way, I'm likely going to be very sporadic for a while. Homework is a bitch.

My P Cs don't have a problem with Tagg because all but Nico have killed before and it would be hypocritical for them to complain about him doing so.

Backstory: Kyle was born to a wealthy family in Veilstone, with several older siblings. His father was a scholar of Sinn history, so when a very young Kyle started to show signs of Aura sensitivity, he convinced his wife to send him off with a Pokemon companion to the Aura Guardians to train him. Kyle grew up an apprentice to the Aura Guardians and trained as an Auric; it quickly became apparent that he was completely hopeless with physically manipulating Aura, but was very talented with the Aura Sense, empathy, and tracking via Aura. Eventually, he grew tired of training to be an Auric, and quit the Aura Guardians. He left on amicable terms, however, and still feels close with his old mentor. Rather than go home to face the shame of quitting his training (not to mention he barely knew his family after hardly seeing them at all since he was little), he took his Medicham Fritz and a Tyrogue egg, a gift from his mentor, and decided to explore the world.

Personality: Kyle is a curious, outgoing, hyperactive young man. He is also a stalwart pacifist and refuses to battle for sport. While he is rather intelligent, he is also very impulsive and tends to consider consequences as an afterthought.

Personality: Fritz is The Stoic, and the Blue Oni to Kyle's Red. He'd rather sit calmly and quietly than run off on some hare-brained scheme, and is very often the sole reason Kyle is not constantly running off on some hare-brained scheme. While he doesn't share Kyle's pacifism, he also prefers not to use force when not necessary. Fritz is, nevertheless, very protective of Kyle, and prone to Tranquil Fury when he is threatened.

An impulsive, Hot-Blooded young man as a pacifist? I smell shenanigans!

Chrome will be intrested in him because ex-Aura Guardian. :P

(Speaking of which I have somwething planned after the Alduin plot related to that that also ties into my big fic idea, but I need to work something out first. So yeah.)

Name: Danielle "Danni" Morrison

Appearance: Small and slight, almost pixie-like. Short straw-coloured hair, deep blue eyes, beauty mark under the left one. Wears glasses, and has multiple piercings in her right ear. Here's a pic. (There's another piercing in her upper ear that is hidden by her hair.)

Region of Origin: Kanto
Backstory/Personality: A young woman who lives in Pallet Town, and wants to get out of her one-horse hometown to see the world. A genuinely sweet person, but after enduring several years of her classmates teasing her for her elven stature, she's developed a jaded streak that leads to her confronting most situations with snark. She initially got her piercings in an attempt to change her classmates' perception of her. It didn't work, but it turned out she really likes them.
Pokemon: None.

Wait, what?

"But Wolf," you're asking me right now (don't deny it), "this is a Pokemon RP! How can she be part of a Pokemon RP without any Pokemon?"

"Well," I respond, "she doesn't have any Pokemon, yet."

You see, Danni is a brand new player character that was created to take over a concept that was initially planned for Katie. The initial idea was that during my absence, while Wolf was living through BioShock Infinite, Katie was also doing a game-inspired arc. That game? Pokemon Red. I liked the idea so much that I dropped it as what she did while away and was going to save it for a later story with her.

Earlier today, I realized two things. First, that if I did this with Katie, she'd have to essentially reboot her entire team, which I've already done with Wolf. Second, that I haven't started LeafGreen yet. If I created a new character, I could do an in-RP Let's Play of Pokemon LeafGreen. Her design comes from an appearance idea I was kicking around for Serena in my X file. I have no idea where I plucked the name Danni from, so don't ask because there isn't a satisfying answer.

Not only could she do LeafGreen, but SoulSilver, Alpha Sapphire (which is what I'm currently leaning toward), and all the other main games up through X (and beyond, if I'm slow). Some of the stories will obviously need to be changed a bit, as some of the events in them have already transpired in the RP, but I will worry about that when I get past the point where the story is more substantive than "Fight Team Rocket, fight Team Rocket again, meet Lugia."

This idea was born of a desire to get back to basics. Since she will not be interacting with the J-Team at all until at least Hoenn, Danni will not speak or understand any monese, she will not encounter any magical artifacts (that aren't part of the plot, anyway), she won't be spirited off to alternate universes or subplots inspired by non-Pokemon video games, and she won't know her Pokeform (or even know that that's a thing). Even though she won't be interacting with the Team, I would like her to have a connection to them. Specifically, I think it would be cool if she was the first-cousin of another player character. If you're willing for Danni to be part of your family (whether your character knows she exists or not) let me know!

Because of the style of this adventure, a lot of it will, by necessity, be done solo. It will probably be slow going, since I have to play the games, and take copious notes so that Danni's experience in the RP is as close to mine in the game as possible. And although I'm hoping to keep a buffer between my progress in the game and Danni's, there may be points where we just don't see her for a while because I haven't been able to play recently. However, I will need your help (yes, you) for certain aspects. Like Gym battles! And plot battles! Actually, it would be almost entirely Gym and plot battles. Since the goal is to be as game-accurate as possible, the attacks and outcomes of these battles would be scripted, but dialogue and characterization are open. I would like you guys (one at a time, obviously) to write and edit these battles with me as spaghetti-posts.

And I think that's just about everything. Special thanks to Crewe for coming up with Danni's last name, as I was completely stumped. And thanks to everyone else who gave me ideas as well.

For reading through all that, here's a special treat. In addition to the pic of Danni, I have also created pictures of Wolf, Katie, and Faith. These are their new (and in Faith's case, first) canonical appearances. The clothes can be taken as Broad Strokes due to limited options (Wolf's coat is missing the yellow accents, and Faith's clothing and jewellery in general is not quite right), but they're otherwise correct. Hope you like them!

My Twitter avvie is a picture from that character creator. A couple days ago a musician notable enough for a Wikipedia page screencapped it during a stream after I sent in a couple samples for the video game parody EDM challenge he was doing :P

i do typically use a reference pic (like my avvie of a not-so-good fire emblem character), but they aren't always accurate

plus i find it just a bit more satisfying to actually describe my characters rather then "click, screenshot, imgur, done"

An image shows a lot more than just text though, as well as being very useful as reference for others, even if you can't make them quite the way you want. In general images are just a lot more convenient for pretty much everyone.

Really wish I could've done more with Linnéa/Ray, but at this point, seeing as I haven't really been able to do anything about it, and as a result the two haven't really gotten to interact much with anyone and thus build connections with the other characters, it kind of feels like there isn't much point to trying to do something now, although...
