Permission to bring in a thinly-veiled Expy character?
Name: Blitzwing
Species: Hydreigon
Gender: Male
Ability: Levitate
Tropes that apply to the three personalities:
"Icy" Blitzwing: The Stoic, An Ice Person Talks like this. (It's also in blue text)
"Hothead" Blitzwing: The Brute, Playing with Fire Talks like this (It's also in red text)
"Random" Blitzwing: Cloud Cuckoolander, Giggling Villain Talks like this (Text color stays the same)
Basically, the character this is based on has three different personalities, so that's why there's all that there.

[insert something relating to myself here]Incoming Macraul bio!
- Name: Cayenne Macraul
- Age: Approx 26
- Gender: Female
- Ethnicity: [Japanese]
- Appearance: 5'9, mousy brown hair usually tied into a bun, brown eyes, huge round glasses, a big perky smile on her face
- Personality: Cheerful, adventurous, and super gung-ho about everything she does. Whenever she's not out in the world, she usually has her nose in a book or article, or is watching documentaries about folklore and mythology.
- Bio:
- Despite having only married into the Macraul family recently, Cayenne is a rather proactive member of the family in her collecting. In her childhood, she gained an insatiable interest in artifacts — particularly, those which have been the subject of stories. Some imbued with power, some rumored to have such power waiting to be unlocked, and some which were simply the subject of petty drama, of course. However, unlike the family into which she married, she is not particularly stingy about giving up pieces of her collection, and in fact frequently sells them to museums (for a decent value, of course) to be displayed, and have their stories told to the world. Of course, due to the nature of the artifacts in question, they have made tempting targets for criminals, who have managed to steal them with an astonishing rate of success, never to be seen again. Some circles have begun to accuse her of cursing the artifacts she donates — however, museums have dismissed this absurd claim, and continue to happily do business with her.
- Name: Sammy
- Species: Haxorus
- Gender: Male
- Personality: Sammy, like his trainer, is always excited to go on a new adventure to find treasure and add it to the hoard! It's a really cool hoard, guys! It's so— wait hold on stop no why are you selling things from the hoard mom no pls we gotta keep it pls noooooooo
- Name: Ranger
- Species: Kanto Sandslash
- Gender: Male
- Personality: Ranger, conversely, couldn't care less. He helps with their treasure-hunting endeavors, but honestly, it's not fulfilling in the slightest. He just wants to nap. Let him nap.

Since I won't have the material for a dump for a while, here's a commission of Human!Yangverse!Zekrom by Loutre, AKA Pippi's datemate!
Contact Me!Nnnnnice!
Again, I may just be biased :P
I'm having to learn to pay the priceo3o
On another note! Starting this week, I'm going to try and do fanfic mode "spotlight" posts on my characters, similar to this one. And since I'd have a hard time picking who to focus on first myself, I created a few polls to let you all decide! You can vote for as many characters as you want per poll, so go nuts.
Contact Me!Hey guys! This has nothing to do with anything, but I finally got a new laptop! Been trying it out, and so far it's working pretty well! Still some small things I gotta figure out, though.
Like, there's this weird thing going on when I try to for example write a post that causes the first letter in some of the words I write to randomly become captialized for no reason. While I can just manually adjust those letters, it's still something I feel I should sort out. Any ideas about what might be causing it? Is it a Windows 10 thing? Or my internet browser? Something else? And any idea how to fix it?
Edit: Okay, after some experimenting and stuff, I've concluded that it's some weird thing with the internet browser I was using, combined with the language setting on this laptop. I've installed the internet browser I used on my old laptop, and it seems I don't have the same issue there, so I'll probably go back to using that as my internet browser of choice.

Hey, so, uh, I've got another thing I'd like feedback on, and Tagg reccomended I ask.
Basically the Entralink arc's been going on for a while now, but still has a fair bit to go, and this is the first time I've really G Med a "big" arc and I want to know... How am I doing? What am I doing well? What kinds of problems are you all having? I'm sometimes worried about people's perception of this arc, so I'd like to know what you all actually think.
Contact Me!You're doing fine man.
It's been great! I like the way you handle it, and all of the plot thread potential with the Entralink with all the room/starting places for individual arcs/plot while the Main Stuff develops in the background before stuff comes to a head
I think you're doing well!
No mind to think. No will to break.Yeah, it's going good!
You're pacing the main stuff well, the miniarcs are doing their job, and the chaotic nature of the arc ensures it won't get stale.

"Dang that sure is totally poggers my good bitch"I think it’s about time I create another character to use.
The Pichu Bros.
The Pichu Bros., much like the ones from the Anime, are a pair of Pichu who just like getting into antics. They have no trainers, no one aside from each other, and no worries in the world. Neither of them regret it, even for a moment.
Pichu The First
Identifiable at a glance by his left ear being notched, Pichu The First is the more mature and tactful of the two. He has a habit of dismissing his younger brother, but he does still listen to his words because he cares for him. He’s typically the one who has to take charge as they find their way in this world.
Pichu The First knows Volt Tackle, Charm, Shock Wave and Thunderbolt. It’s been enough to protect Pichu the Second.
Pichu The Second
As opposed to the visibly scarred Pichu The First, Pichu The Second has no visible scars. As the younger one, he is naturally more scrappy, explorative and easily amused than his older brother. He is typically the one responsible for most of the antics the two get involved in, but he does mean well and just wants to see his big brother happy again.
He knows the same moves as his big brother, only none of them are as powerful due to said big brother typically being the one to fight to protect Pichu The Second.

All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Well, I'm having a problem following what's going on, both with chars individually and with the overall arc plans... But that's mostly due to my kind of periodic skimming at the end of the day rather than reading posts as they're posted, has nothing to do with the GM'ing!
I'm appreciating how everyone's been able to do their own thing rather than standing around waiting for the plot to officially move forward so they're "allowed" to move on to a different town and change things up, which has sort of been a problem before IMO. I don't think there's really anything to fix except for me to actually try following what people are doing outside of Nierplot so I can figure out what I'm doing (and who I can do it with) once Tori moves on from Alola.
I wouldn't be too concerned with arcs taking a while. This isn't like the old days where we'd have 25+ pages in a day and progressing through arcs at a breakneck speed because we were in High School or otherwise didn't have the adult commitments most of us have now.
So yeah, you're doing fine man.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceName: Abilene Macraul
Age: 18 (birthday 3/12/1999, tentatively)
Gender: Trans girl
Ethnicity: Kalosian
Appearance: Around 5'7", and has bushy green hair, possibly straightened depending on the day. Usually wears a set of opaque Blackglasses, and possesses and displays impeccable style despite being legally blind.
Organizational Ties: Macrauls
Region of origin: Kalos
Bio: One of a set of triplets, she grows plants. Lots and lots of plants. She sells all sorts to all sorts, usually so she can buy more plants.
She is a very skilled botanist, having devoted much of her life to the practice. Known to few, she's working toward a particular goal (developing a cultivatable non-mon plant with enough Aura to drain to sustain a being who thrives off of it), which may be of interest to certain members of her family.
She is typically accompanied by anywhere from two to [an immense, amorphous cloud of] Natu as seeing-eye mons.
Personality: Intense and unflappable to outsiders, somewhat lonely (though she'd never admit it) personally. Immensely dedicated to her garden, as Macrauls tend to be. When she's not dealing and making deals with assorted folk, she can almost certainly be found in it with her mons, tending to an assortment of carefully labelled plants while listening to some in a very varied and likely aesthetically dissonant collection of music. A bit of a loner in that regard.
In the habit of throwing money at her close family, and they at her.
Collection Team
Species: Chesnaught
Nickname: Castanea, "Castor"
Gender: Female
Ability: Bulletproof
Personality/Bio: Loyal, always close, well-versed in gardening techniques. Has high standards for the mons around her.
Species: Tropius
Nickname: Sapinda
Gender: Female
Ability: Harvest
Personality/Bio: Once a Leppa Tropius who (by dint of carefully induced X/Y Berry Cross-Mutations) eventually came to grow Kee Berries. Very proud.
Species: Torterra
Nickname: Sorbus
Gender: Female
Ability: Overgrow
Personality/Bio: Grows a tree with many different branches grafted onto it. Mostly relaxed, but very protective of her Berries/etc., and has a short list of those she allows to pick them. (Those who fail to respect the list, or her standards, without fail get a significantly less welcoming faceful of indeterminate-species-but-certainly-immensely-hardy tree) (usually with an improbable number of thorns)
Species: Roserade
Nickname: Rosa
Gender: -shrug-
Ability: Technician
Personality/Bio: Very sensitive to the environment, loathes litter and pollution. The most combative of the grass mons, most likely. Possibly on a time-share basis with one of Abilene's siblings.

No mind to think. No will to break. And in a similar vein to Umbra's question... I was wondering if I could get some feedback on who to show more, so I set up some Strawpolls as well. Please give feedback if you so desire!
"life is just a series of increasingly canon-eluding ao3 tags" ~ everydunsparce "Keep your hellfruit away from me, tempter" ~ also EveryName: Brynhilde Andevaran, née Macraul
- Age: 23
- Gender: Agender, they/them (usually)
- Ethnicity: Kalosian
- Brief description of their appearance: About 6’1 with long, blue Lusamine hair and incredibly androgynous features, their ice-blue eyes generally behind glasses. They can usually be found wearing a white military-esque tunic with blue trim and gold epaulets and fasteners, a white and blue cape draped over her shoulders, knee-high riding boots and white dress gloves. They also usually have an 18th century cavalry saber belted to their hip. They can also be found always wearing a ring bearing a resemblance to certain devices known to transform pokemon into people...
- Any ties to an organization: Formerly, the Macraul Family
- Region of Origin: Kalos
- Bio: Ostensibly a Macraul that either left or was kicked out of the family due to arguments over the dubious legality of some of their pursuits. That’s… not incorrect, but not the full story.
The full story starts in the early 18th century, when Brynhilde was born. Notably, the sole daughter of two Macrauls, while their parents wanted them to become a prim and proper lady, they were raised by their uncle, and archaeologist and historian, on stories of ancient mythology and ancient civilizations. As they grew up they became estranged from the family for a) not wanting their parents to dictate their life, and b) not liking the less-than-savory methods of acquisition of many members of the family, eventually reaching a point where they were burned off the tapestry. They (as rebellious young women are wont to do) ran off, disguised themselves as a man (though given their androgynous appearance and lack of bust, this was not hard) and joined the army, falling in love with someone (who turned out to also have disguised herself as a man), and then got ignominiously killed, having discovered that war is not, in fact, nearly as glorious as the books would make it out to be.
Well, they came back as a Honedge, their spirit bound to their sword, their only companions in this new world of spirits their ever-faithful Rapidash. Eventually they discovered they were agender, and, seeing that they had all the time in the world, apparently, decided to become an archaeologist, of sorts. On one expedition they discovered a ring that allowed them to assume a human form, and on another, a Mimikyu claiming to be Giratina and wearing a Giratina shroud. Feeling sorry for the thing, they decided to take it with them, and over the intervening years have amassed quite a collection of similar Mimikyu. - Personality: A gallant and confident enby, they are prone to speeches and would be the first to rush to someone’s aid. They tend towards overly formal speech, but can be quite critical of aristocrats, those of Kalos especially. They can also be bitterly cynical at times, and they enjoy wordplay and snark. Fond of playing with people’s initial assumptions of their gender. The Macraul tendency for collections doesn’t seem to have faded with their departure from the family or death, and they’ve amassed quite a lot of Mimikyu...
- Species: Delta Rapidash (Ice/Ghost)
- Nickname: Gloire
- Gender: F
- Ability: Flash Fire
- Personality/Bio: Ever Brynhilde’s faithful companion, in death as in life, Gloire has a strong sense of duty and loyalty to her trainer, and a disdain for Macrauls, warranted by the individual in question or not. She died with Brynhilde and came back with Brynhilde.
- Species: Froslass
- Nickname: Svanhild
- Gender: F
- Ability: Snow Cloak
- Personality/Bio: Haughty and aloof, but a generally decent ‘mon. Enjoys playing games which can be incredibly dangerous, though if she can help it never lethal, for the participants.
- Species: Alolan Ninetails
- Nickname: Signi
- Gender: F
- Ability: Snow Warning
- Personality/Bio: A loving and doting wife to Sigmund, generally done with everything else, and incredibly vengeful against those who wrong her. She readily joined Brynhilde after a group of poachers funded by a Macraul tried to take her and Brynhilde saved her.
- Species: Alolan Sandslash
- Nickname: Sigmund
- Gender: M
- Ability: Slush Rush
- Personality/Bio: Signi’s wife and somewhat overprotective of her after the incident with the poachers, he’s an old man who always wanted to travel but never managed to get off Mt. Lanakila until recently, and still looks at most of the world with wonder and excitement.
- Species: Abomasnow
- Nickname: Sorli
- Gender: M
- Ability: Soundproof
- Personality/Bio: A recent addition to the team. Sorli is boisterous and proud, and not afraid to get in a fight. He has an unfortunate tendency to get into trouble, and to piss off the various Mimkyu.
Along with numerous Mimikyu, all with covers styled after Legendaries. Notably, they lack Mimikyu styled after Xerneas, Lugia, Solgaleo, Ho-oh, Thundurus, Landorus, or Tornadus.

All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world. So quite a few people know that I plan on upgrading Silas's Jet with a proper Airship and having it outfitted with artificial gravity thanks to my bean juice loving alien Ziltoid.
I haven't seen any major issue with this so far and by and large I intend to keep it that way, but part of me is tempted to have it fully upgraded into a proper spacecraft by Ziltoid and having Silas owe him a favor later. The favor thing is to explain the artificial gravity but I am still continuously tempted.
So before I do anything stupid, I wanted to get a second opinion.
The ship itself would not have any FTL drive, and wouldn't be any faster than what current rocketry depicted in setting is capable of. It would never leave the Solar system and the farthest it would go would be Mars.
If there is any problem or anything, I can keep the ship to just orbiting around the planet and performing slingshot moves to the moon and back. I just wanted to make sure that I don't do anything dumb.

Contact Me!They're so good!
And speaking of commissions, I just got back one from zu-art of a certain blue rain dork, because I'm impulsive!
My responsiveness is probably going to get increasingly laggy as we approach the end of the month, by which time you will all be granted full permission to marvel as I ascend to my planar form. Just fyi.
There is no disdain in nature, there is no humiliation.Bitters: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Also!
After some discussion we will be closing the dibs doc for the Fire Emblem Heroes Plot as of April 21st 2018. This is partially due to the fact the actual overarching narrative of the plot is kicking into gear soon-ish after, and partially because intrest in this plot is greater than anticipated and we've accrued a fair number of characters involved. After the mentioned date the dibs doc will be closed to editing and you'll be limited to whatever you've jotted down for Fire Emblem character cameos.
In addition, please consider carefully which of those cameos will become recurring cast members and which will be sent home after the plot. We will defer to everyone's best judgement on this, but many of these characters would probably want to go home after this, plus, well, saturation.
If you want to make any last minute claims the dibs doc is here.
