This thread is to request that a locked article be unlocked. Please read the guidelines below before making a request.
- Please see Locked Pages and Permanent Redlink Club first. If an article is on the Permanent Redlink Club, it will not be unlocked, ever.
- Pages cut a while ago were automatically locked. Before asking for an unlock, make sure that the article you want to create is in the proper Namespace, has gone through YKTTW if it's a trope, and otherwise fulfills our guidelines for Creating New Pages.
- If you just want to make an edit to an article, post here
instead.
- Don't ask for new Main redirects. Those are only for old articles with lots of existing inbounds.

I'll start it off: could someone please unlock Hootie And The Blowfish so I can make a new page on it? The last page was cut for being copypasta from Wikipedia.

Hello I am trying to create a page for the fanfic series Iron Hearts unfortunately the namespacegoeshere page seems to be locked for some reason if it could be unlocked so as to facilitate page creation I would be very thankful.

Can I ask why My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks is locked? There's no reason given on the Lock page.

Though he tends to fixate on stalking tropers rather than on a specific page. It will probably be safe to unlock soon. No later than September 27, at least, when the movie will show in theaters and people will want to add to the page.

Can I ask for an unlock on Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch on the grounds that the decision in the Repair Shops to make it an In-Universe Examples Only trope should fix the issues that caused its locking, as well as making the growth of the now-trope easier?

It looks like Rhapsodies got locked after some Trolls (Possibly just one, their call signs looked generated) reacted badly to some enthusiastic pruning of the page, going so far as to resort to Godwin law. While I have no idea whether these individuals will strike again the page was not at fault.
These folks have been striking pretty much since months, sadly.

Could we unlock YMMV.Rihanna. I have legitimate YMMV items for her music I'd like to add. I'd imagine it was cut for YMMV items about the woman and not her work, but I'll try to keep an eye on it from time to time.

I think it is time to unlock My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks, as the movie is coming out. He Who's Too Stupid to Be Named should have forgotten about it by now, since he focus on tropers and not on pages.
I second that the main Rainbow Rocks page should be unlocked, as the movie has officially come out now and it definitely needs to be updated with all the new information.

Edit: I'm not sanguine about unlocking YMMV.Rihanna. One troper's good intentions can't outweigh the swarm of trolls and drooling teenagers waiting to pounce on it. Suggest edits in the request thread.

I request ImageSource.Comic Strips to be unlocked (it was locked after deletion, has it happened at the time). ImageSource.Newspaper Comics is no longer limited to such, but also magazine strips and the like, so it might need to be moved.

Any chance Literature/Ash could be unlocked? It's a redirect page at the moment to Main/Ash, Music/Ash, and YMMV/Ash, but there's a book by Malinda Lo that should get a page, as suggested on the Summary/Literature page.
I am guessing it was cut because none of the YMMV entries on the page (or on the main page, for that matter) are about the creators (thus they should go on the works' YMMV pages). Nevermind that we don't record YMMV items for creators.
