The fact that Funny.TV Tropes exists. All of it.
I'm also mildly honored that at least two of my contributions are on that page — some entries on the page PlayingWith.Break The Scientist, and the dream I had where (among other things) I was getting eggs all over my bed and that we were no longer allowed to list certain characters as The Scrappy because the characters themselves didn't like it.
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.
Holy crap, I made the original version of this page over a year ago as a joke. I'm honored for it to be featured this fine April Fool's Day.
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."Smiting Evil Feels Good's video example. Premium example.
Due to unfortunate events, i will continue to exist until further notice. The entire Headscratchers page for Commando. Watch as tropers try their best to make sense of a totally non-sensical movie.
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.Lemon Stu... all of it.
He/they | Mostly here on my free days"Doc Louis was a dog in a previous life. And now he can eat as much chocolate as he wants."
The Protomen enhanced my life.Fun fact, Nelvana, the Canadian animation company had a bathtub in the middle of it's office in its early days, and people used it.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.- Unintentional Period Piece
- The pilot episode's depiction of the internet, particularly of how it was obscure and difficult to access.
The image and caption of Sickly Neurotic Geek is hilarious in it's earnestness and then Brutal Honesty.
Discombobulate.The caption on Eyedscreen.
The Protomen enhanced my life. The lutefisk's entry in Masochist's Meal:
“Essentially, you take a perfectly good fish, dry it thoroughly until it resembles a 2x4 plank, and let it rot slightly, then soak it in lye and smoke it. Then, you soak it in water to get all the lye out, boil it, and serve it with innocent mashed potatoes which had done nothing to deserve the treatment.”
Forum signature. The first line from Almost Kiss's description:
The Thriller genre index lists subcategories, the first few of which are Police Procedural, Psychological Thriller, and... Ted Dekker? (Whoever he is, his section is mostly redlinks.)
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable- Fight Scene Failure The brawl between Kirk and the Gorn became one of the most remembered moments from the series for all the wrong reasons. The Gorn moves at the speed of molasses and he and Kirk fight with all the forceful aggression of a summer breeze, at one point simply hugging each other like a father and son. Most infamous is a scene where Kirk strikes the Gorn in the side with a large rock, with the Gorn not even reacting to the hit.
The entirety of SelfDemonstrating.Superpower Silly Putty.
EDIT: Also this on Characters.Batman Supporting Cast:
"Like every other member of Batman's supporting cast, he has suffered many tragedies that would drive any normal man to suicide and/or insanity. "

The Protomen enhanced my life. The Hilarious in Hindsight entry for Planet Terror:
- Bruce Willis' character kills Osama Bin Laden by shooting him in the head. Four years later, he'd be killed in real life the exact same way (but not by Bruce Willis).
No shit, Sherlock.
It's been 3000 years…Presumably not by Bruce Willis.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Talking of Bruce Willis...
I kinda love how the "Catchy Song" example on VideoExamples. The LEGO Movie 2 The Second Part isn't even a video per se. All you need to know is that song's gonna get stuck inside your head.
"As long as I have my comrades with me, I can do anything!" (She/Her)The Writing Pitfall Index has some self-demonstrating examples. I think my favorite is:
There's also some meta-humor if you treat it as the ultimate list of every writing mistake possible (which it obviously isn't meant to be). So if I avoid all the pitfalls listed there, I'm fine?
"He betrayed the Staaarks" is not the only problem here.Maybe I'm easily amused but Film is making me chuckle.
This line from the description on Around the World in 80 Days (2004):
It's not so funny by itself, but personally, anytime Arnold's (succesful) run to become the Governator of California is mentioned I chuckle.
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes. This little bit from Spamton:
Also, the commented-out tags from that same page. Even Spamton hates it when people don't follow our rules.
From Breaking Bad:
- * Beam Me Up, Scotty!: [...] **Many people assume that Mike Ehrmantraut always pronounces Walter's name as "Waltuh", due to Jonathan Banks' gravelly voice he provides for the character. In reality, Mike always pronounces Walter's name with the hard "R" sound over the course of the series. The misconception likely comes from the "Put your dick away Waltuh" meme, where the person imitating Mike's voice does drop the "R" sound.
I love how some of our entries sound really professional and serious even when talking about dumb shit like this.

Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.
The phrasing of this line from Proactive Boss. I like to think that whoever wrote this has a vendetta against Infinite.
