Throwing goats is not a proper response to an enemy vessel returning fire.
"It's just like... a series of overlapping curses." - Flower Knight Dakini@1501 I have to ask how that works - do you make the cleric stand 20 feet away when carrying torches? Does the arcane caster(s) of the party make a full move just to be sure they're at least 20 feet away when casting fireball? Are there creative uses of Bigby's hand spells when fire elementals are summoned?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Torches are not dangerous to the necklace so I'd assume "use fire" is limited to fire attack spells.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."True, but depending on the GM ruling, a pyrotechnics spell (fireworks version) might. I'm just saying, I've heard worse precautions.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Still, better make sure the DM knows that. :/
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyAnd because some of us in the party aren't idiots, I'm not playing a blaster caster in the group with a necklace of fireballs.
In Star Wars Saga Edition, I am no longer allowed to:
- Encourage a fellow player to have sex with Princess Leia just because Han Solo owes me money.
- Encourage a fellow player to eat Han Solo's head because Han Solo owes me money.
- Cut off the face of a Mon Calamari and wear it like a mask.
- Pretend to be a Mon Calamari while wearing said mask.
- Create a disco ball using 100kg of detonite.
- Steal 100kg of detonite.
- Carry 50kg of detonite around in my chest cavity so that whoever kills me will also be destroyed. Along with all of my allies and the room they were standing in.
- Play a droid. Honestly, that would have prevented all of the above problems.
Title? Oh, Lawful Good. I'm Lawful Good. My characters are occasionally sociopaths. Especially when said character's only morals are those he was programmed with and, thanks to a "transcription error" when transferring between bodies and my GM trying to screw me over by giving me a Hackmaster-styled set of flaws, accidentally rolled me the flaw "Psychotic Hatred." We forced him to make it stick, and Mon Calamari came out as the thing I hate. Hence the masks.
In Mage: the Awakening, I am no longer allowed to:
- Create a mobile Paradox-free magic zone that looks like a recolored Iron Man suit.
- Definitely not allowed to make the above armor out of perfected materials.
- Create a permanent Ward against magic focused on a necktie.
- Recreate the Technocracy in the Camarilla.
- Completely shut down the local Gauntlet.
- Dick with the local vampire coven by rigging catapults to throw ribeye steaks at them as soon as they enter Elysium.
- Remind the local vampire population that we're effectively badasses by doing the above even when they change Elysium locations.
Wow. I think I've been gaming a while. There was more, but I think I'll quit now before I make a huge post.

If you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy, have some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste.Your title makes for an excellent punchline.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyMy custom mech is not allowed to use the HARP Cannon as a repurposed Anti-Shipping Rifle. While yes sniping turrets on a battle ship along with the command tower is pretty damn cool it is a bit OP for the game. No sinking the Chinese Carrier was not cool that scenario took a lot of work and I sank it in 10 shots from 10 miles out.
Who watches the watchmen?- If my character concept uses the words "pony", "candy", and "barbarian" in any configuration, it is vetoed.
Rachel is no longer allowed to have a vampire that is the best blood pudding chef ever, who can also make blood pies and uses them as siege engine ammo.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Wizard Archetypes are now forbidden to me. My Shotgun and Fireball wielding Wizard Spellslinger Char I build for fun was not appreciated by our GM. Also:
23:16 math792d: He found a wizard who literally uses a catapult as his spell focus.
23:16 Three Of Four: hehehehe
23:17 math792d: Not even joking.
23:17 math792d: The wizard's Hat is literally remote-piloting a siege engine WITH HIS MIND.
23:17 Three Of Four: archetype s are fun.
23:18 math792d: I hate you so much.
Also, while Gunslingers are generally not allowed in our Setting, making an Expy of

"You can reply to this Message!"In Fire Emblem Awakening, I am no longer allowed to pass the Lethality skill to Morgan and attempt to use it on Grima.
(Agender. They/Them pronouns.)Yeah, this thread isn't exactly for that kind of RPG.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.1516. Not allowed a weapon which deals no damage but punts enemies across the map. Also not allowed the inverse.
Wrong. A weapon which does inconceivable damage with no kickbacks.

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalous...a weapon which deals damage but does not punt enemies across the map?
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableObviously, a weapon which deals punt damage but nos enemies across the map.
If you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy, have some taste. Use all your well-learned politesse or I'll lay your soul to waste.A weapon that does damage and then proceeds to punt you across the map?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. My second guess was going to be a weapon that does no enemies and punts damage across the map, but I think that would technically be the converse.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableFYI, he's edited it in by now.
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyAre bards ever allowed to deal pun damage?
In 4E, I suppose some of those bard powers can be handwaved as pun-based damage (For Vicious Mockery: An assassin? If you gained any more weight you'd have to be an assassassin.)
I'm not sure if I should be allowed to play a bard.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Something I found I'm not allowed to do in Shadowrun.
If my Orc is the most intelligent one of the group, she's not allowed to join. Nor am I allowed to have her be almost entirely metal when I invade the Metal Quarter[*] and knock somebody out with a headbutt.
[*]Yes, an actual quarter for metalheads.

"Did you expect somebody else?"
No one in our entire campaign is allowed to use fire within twenty feet of the Cleric, and his almost-killed-our-entire-party-but-he-still-wont-get-rid-of-it Necklace of Fireballs.
