I just won a shirt in-game. They were mentioning the Roanoke colony, in particular the mysterious word "Croatan" but couldn't remember the name of the colony. I shouted it out. I've also started an ATEN! cult in the chat.

So, I've learned to appreciate the Dragon a bit more. What's been bothering me was that it was the faction with the least real world mythos and history behind it. Like they needed a third faction, they wanted it to be Asian, so they threw together something with loose connection to the triads and chaos theory and called it "the Dragon".

The problem was that I missed the clue in their lore when I first read it, nearly two years ago. Before I was in the habit of Googling everything I see in the game.

Well, much like how most mythologies have a flood myth, most have a hero/god slays a dragon myth. The hero represents order and the dragon is chaos. So in the game, it appears there is an actual chaos dragon.

Also, this webcomic I read, Darths & Droids has an ongoing running joke. The comic is about Star Wars being a group's Dungeons & Dragons campaign and the running joke is them applying that premise to a different film. So, they did one about Jurassic Park that sums up the Dragon too well:

A good example of Dragon was the venetian guy in one of the newer updates.

Your handler tells a tale of how someone noticed an unnaturally beautiful cherry blossom that seemingly sprouted from nowhere and got distracted, causing a car accident. Then they mention the venetian lost a family member in a car accident and is emotionally compromised and thus willing to work with you.

Anniversary is coming to an end. I got the Patchwork Mech-Man and the white kimono and hakama for Meil.

Also, don't get excited Templars and Dragons, because "Weird Al" Yankovic didn't spill the beans, he's One Of Us and is sharing truths that nobody is going to believe anyway.

Yomi is now in Blue Mountain, I'm not sure what happened but she's so far ahead of the XP curve that she's been kicking ass since entering Savage Coast. And just maybe, maybe I'll finally make a real Dragon alt.

I got lucky and got all I wanted(pet, clothing, lore) pretty much in a row. I got scared one moment my work will get in the way. Seduced one old wow friend to play TSW once a sale goes live. I think I'll level my Illuminati toon with him. If I have the time that is.

I was in the same position. Blue mountain wasn't a problem when I got there, but, I did take my time without rushing. And, I did have a good grasp on how the wheel works and had some goals set when spending ap.

That was pretty awesome. Needs more Voice of the Legion, like trading off between paragraphs, though. Once the introduction gets rolling it was almost perfect, as same as "Our wisdom flows so sweet, taste and see".

Best Darkness War group ever. Get in the instance and two of the party members are wearing Orochi uniforms—and have the same face with different beards.

I put mine on, then the fourth did as well. The fifth couldn't find hers.

The moment we did, we started wiping just like good Orochis! And we agreed, wearing Orochi uniforms should activate extra-hard mode.

So, Yomi is now in Kaidan. Woot. And it's kicking her ass because it's clearly scaled for elite gear minimum if not actually NM.

Also, made a placeholder Dragon I may or may not keep: Madness Mantra and since you can just make free cabals, he is now the sole member of The Omniscient Council of Vagueness.

You really can't get any more Dragon than that.

They did a live-stream with the game's head developer and we had a sneak peek at issue 10's area. It'll be the southeast third of Kaidan beyond the wall with a train station, elementary school, and a slum for Orochi's employees.

I'm afraid of the school.

As to that recording of Lore: funny, I always read the "Our wisdom flows so sweet, taste and see" line in a creepy female voice in my mind.

Word from the head dev is that issue 12 will be a Pv P issue. No details until they're wrapping up Kaidan and ready to discuss it.

You should be. This is TSW, after all. It brought us wonderful locales such as the Nursery and the Fear Nothing Foundation.

Well, look at it this way: the gaki in Contract Killers could be all the little kids in Kaidan.

EDIT: New hints and clues surface as people discuss the director's letter. They're revamping raids at some point in the future and creating tiers. It seems that part of this new raid tier system will involve using the Machine in the Sunken Library and could have scenario-like parameters like difficulty setting. Basically, this is how they'd bring the Flappy raid back: instead of a permanently Filthy portal in Agartha we'd have a virtual recreation of the fight.

Golden Weekend on the 9th and Samhain begins on the 20th.

im guessing golden weekend is the reason im getting an extra AP everytime i earn AP?

cuz thats pretty awesome, and im sad i only remembered this on the 11th.

It was delayed. It will last the same amount of time but will start at a later date.
