Kaito: Well, um, directly west a bit aways is Mistralton City, but go a bit southwest you've got Driftveil and northwest you've got Iccirrus and both of those are a bit closer and not blocked by a mountain. I, um, I'm fine with whichever, but I'm more familiar with Driftveil if you want somewhere I can really show you around.

Kaito: So! Um. Kuu. Uh, from the... from the sound of it, I think you might be, like, from a totally different universe? Sorry, that whole reveal tends to come out a lot more dramatic and stuff but like, you seem like you know more or less what you were doing.

A clanging can be heard, this clanging sounds very similar to a metal blade slicing through metal bodies.

???: Now this is cheeky, throwing me all these cheap toys! And not even the fun type of cheap toys! Hmmph~

And in fact, that is exactly what's happening

???: Still it's been too long since I've had a good fight! Salomé! Jezebel! Eat your hearts out, ladies~❣

A Tsareena of a primarily purple and green shade and a white Salazzle leap out into the crowd. The Salazzle pulsating out fire as she dances through the bots while the Tsareena whips at the bots with her 'hair' before breaking them with a kick while they're down.

Another voice, one more tired and deadpan and [British], responds

???: Ms Boehm, please contain yourself. We have some sense of decorum to keep in tact here.

Another figure just seems to be walking calmly through the crowd, and yet, he's punching holes and heads off bots with a type strength that seems downright superhuman. The Hypno next to him is tossing around bots like ragdolls, flinging them into walls with enough force to break.

???: The paperwork dealing with this mess is going to be tiresome'. Though, overtime is just something I've accepted working under you all these years, Maria.

The Lady Identified as "Maria": Oh 'Märkie~ Why don't you loosen up and have some fun one of these days?

"Märkie": I couldn't think of anything more tiresome, Ms Boehm.

At that moment, the unseen woman leaps out in front of the group, kneeing a drone in the chest and passing a wink at the group.

Her manner of dress is striking. A black, leather longcoat with a stylized Braviary on it's back drapes over her flared top, a bright scarlet in colour. Her pants are black with red lines down the seams with red stilettos to match. She is evidently a part of Flare, but her manner of dress indicates someone of higher rank than the flunkies the Retrieval Team blasted through.

Plus she has a halberd, a very big halberd.

Speaking of that halberd, after she lands on the ground after kneeing that drone (breaking it in the process), she forcefully sticks the pike end of the weapon into the floor and begins swinging around the pole, kicking down all the robots in the vicinity.

She's obviously enjoying this a little too much.

After practically blazing through the opposition, her Tsareena and Salazzle end up by her side, and all three sport a Victory Pose.

Maria: And that's how you solve a problem like Maria.

Her companion, a man with matching pants but a red blazer, finishes off a few straggling robots. His appearance is more subdued and less eye catching that that of his boss - with his plain (if scruffy) brown hair partially slicked back. Though his glasses have a slightly meancing gleam to them.

"Märkie": Your penchant for theatrics is going to get you in trouble some day, Boehm.

Maria unsheathes her halberd from the floor and places it in it's holding on her back, before walking over to her companion.

Maria: Marcus, not everyone can be as dull and boring as you. Fleeing the limelight and wishing to live in relative obscurity~ In fact, some may covet it~

Marcus adjusts his glasses.

Marcus: Regardless, we have more prudent things to deal with than wax philosophies at each other...

Marcus turns his full attention to the group.

Marcus: Like what to do about this little... development.

Maria smirks as she looks over the group.

Maria: Yes, indeed.

Lex tries to avoid any eye contact or notice from the pair.

Colton had stopped wandering to sit on a bench close to the bridge leading to Driftveil, as that was where he was closer to so he could get some of that sweet saltwater air. Then his phone buzzed.

He drew his phone and looked at the text and read it. He shook his head and pocketed his phone, uninterested - he was just in Alola yesterday. Probably. How long was he sleeping for?

Unsure of how to continue, if even at all, he decided to practice his illusions. He drew the Prax Obscura and flipped to the page about illusions, joking about how he'd be able to summon ethereal hands to do this for him soon.

He'd probably be there for a while.

Gudrunn: Well, I am an unlimited-power-sexual, so.

Molph: ~Let's... not take this conversation in that direction just now.~

Gudrunn: ...You were listening in?

Maria does that obnoxious 90s anime girl laugh at Brie and Trina's attempt at starting a fight.

Maria: Oh this is just charming, you lot really think we're going to fight you?

She chuckles to the side.

Maria: How cute

Marcus adjusts his glasses oncemore.

Marcus: We are not here to fight you, or stop you - for that matter. In fact, you made our jobs much easier for all of us involved.

Maria: By getting rid of Lily-Livered Lexie over there~ Hi Lexie!

She mockingly waves over at Lex, who tries his best to not get flustered and frustrated and pretends to ignore her.

Marcus: So, good job to you lot.

Both do a sarcastic Slow Clap at the group.

-She looks at Gabe- "In my world I was the first of the fae, an Archfey to be exact. I hold dominion over all that came into existence. I was... asleep. For a long time. I am trying to help stop my world from tearing itself apart with war and meaningless strife."

-the Bruxish stops, realizing that this voice did not come from Ever. She rotates in the water to face PEFE!Every, assuming a pose that can, despite her limited anatomy, only be construed as leaning forward curiously-

Bruxish: <You pushed your friend in the drink to get my attention? That's a power move.>

Ever: -treading water- It's some kind of move alright.

Bruxish: <You understand me?>

PEFE!Every: We both do.

-she clears her throat-

PEFE!Every: I work for an organization that studies Pokemon. If you come with me, I can train you as a scientist, if you allow me to do some study of your physiology and capabilities.
