They're talking about the music that plays over Star Dream's second phase.
Apparently Dark Mind is the final boss of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kirby/comments/655k16/this_is_it_the_final_boss_of_kirby_clash_deluxe/
It's tricky to show because nobody's done a proper speed upload without throwing in the melody of Zero Two on top, but set this to 1.25 speed. Maybe I'll upload one myself.
I don't hear it. It may sound a little bit like it, but it's not the exact melody or chords.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. Why is the Kirby reddit marked as NSFW of all things?
I believe Reddit's NSFW tag functionality is used as a makeshift spoiler tag.
Trans rights are human rights.Either way, I don't think it was a coincidence. The similar music, similar gameplay, vaguely similar appearance (pointy on bottom, with floaty wings made up of tiny lines), and especially the concept art◊ convinces me that it was intended as a Call-Back.

So, my favorite Kirby game is Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It's like the best parts of Super Star stretched out into an entire game. I especially love that they finally brought back the more multi-faceted Copy Abilities (and the new ones, like Leaf and Water, are fantastic). Does anyone else really dig it?
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?So that final boss theme from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe is basically a High-Quality Rip. It starts out as Masked Dedede's theme, then NOPE, you're getting Dark Mind's theme instead, but in the same instrumentation.
YES! In fact, as great as Triple Deluxe and Robobot are, Return to Dreamland is probably still my favorite Kirby game. Mostly because it's a console game instead of a handheld, but the local multiplayer is really fun if you have willing participants and in my opinion it's the most fun True Arena to do multiple runs of; Triple Deluxe's is marred by Pyribbit existing, and Planet Robobot's is somewhat predictable and dull thanks to being in a fixed order.
That being said, the Super Copy Abilities kinda wear out their welcome. Hypernova and the Robobot Armor were better level gimmicks.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm surprised Return to Dream Land didn't get many fans. I see more people talking about Kirby's Epic Yarn than RtDL. I honestly don't get it—not only is it on the Wii (Nintendo's best-selling console since the NES, if I'm not mistaken), it feels like the Super Star spiritual successor Kirby fans had been clamoring for for ages. What gives?
And, I don't mind the Super Abilities. They're badass and fun. I especially like how they're used in the fight against Grand Doomer, and that one stage in Dangerous Dinner where you get Ultra Sword and run around tearing through all the mini-bosses, defeating each in one hit.
I still haven't seen the fish, unfortunately!
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Super Star I feel gets a little overhyped by the fandom. Sure it's a cool game, introduced a lot of iconic characters, and has some cool setpieces, but there's also some weird minigames and shifts in gameplay that feel either boring or out of place with the series. Nothing's ever actually bad, but the ones people talk about the most are Milky Way Wishes, Revenge of Meta Knight, and the True Arena. It feels like those first two could've been fleshed out just a bit more and made full games in their own right. Otherwise, the game to me feels disjointed and a random collection of stuff to do rather than a cohesive experience.
"No will to break."Return was basically the game that got me into the Kirby series, so naturally I have good memories of it. I haven't played it in a while due to not having access to my Wii/Wii U, though.
Beyond what's already been said, I really appreciate the fact Return has a proper EX mode. I kind of miss having that in Triple Deluxe and Robobot; Dededetour and Meta Knightmare are both fun in their own right, but they're really not the same.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I am of the opinion that Super Star Ultra is much better than the original, awkward-looking CG cutscenes aside.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?They don't look that awkward for DS standard...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. They don't look bad, but it's jarring to go from 3D models to pixel art.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Kirby's Dream Land 2 is my favourite, but Nightmare in Dream Land is what got me into the series.

I think the reason Super Star gets so much praise is because it was the first game in the series to have it that most abilities have a suite of moves with multiple commands for them instead of just being a single attack.
I sure said that!My favourite is Crystal Shards. I love the slow, dreamlike atmosphere of it, and power combining is the best thing ever.
Planet Robobot is also really good and tied with Super Star Ultra. Otherwise I haven't played much Kirby (don't feel like I need to now since Robobot is a follow up to Triple Deluxe and Return to Dream Land. Kirby games are a bit samey).
Recently they've been, yes.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I mean, I like that Returns, Triple Deluxe and especially Planet Robobot went for different aesthetics, at least.
And honestly, the firm establishment of the current style starting with Super Star Ultra isn't exactly a bad thing- I like how fast and fluid everything feels.
I sure said that!Me too. Playing around with the abilities is just too much fun for the recent Sakurai style Kirby games. The spinoffs are nice, but it's the action I'm after in Kirby.
Speaking of, I still think a true 3D Kirby game adapting the Sakurai style should be a Spectacle Fighter like God of War and Bayonetta, where you can copy enemies as usual and do combos with each abilities' moves.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I think Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot both surpassed it overall, but I have a soft spot for Return to Dreamland for introducing the formula the series follows today, and it still has the best final boss.
I don't understand the appeal of combining Copy Abilities in Crystal Shards. I mean, as long as each combination still gives you a single Ability, what's the point? If you could combine SS/RtDL-style Abilities and get a whole slew of new moves per combination, that'd be something!
I mean, Crystal Shards itself is still a good game. I hope Ribbon and Adeleine come back someday. And the music is fantastic.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?It's a novelty...
It doesn't really matter if they only have one attack, they're creative...
That's what people like about them...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.
Hm? Dark Matter's battle music in Robobot is a remix of his themes from Dreamland 2, not 64.
EDIT: Wait, are you talking about Star Dream's music? Not sure about that either.
