^^ Well Kryptonians are explicity weak against two things; green Kryptonite and magic.
Hazama is from a game where all but one character is armed with Magitech, his is the most powerful canonically and his attacks tend be be coloured green. It stands to reason that Zod is doomed if he fights Hazama.
^ Metaknight is quite big on honour. Hazama is not....

While I can see why the magic would damage him...the green color doesn't and in fact all kryptonite damages Kryptonians. You're thinking about Green Lanterns and yellow.
anyway, yeah, Hazama can beat a normal human like Mal...But that would be a long fight and the whole crew of Serenity would be involved

Actually different types of kryptonite have different effects, but only green is immediately fatal to Kryptonians. The part about his attacks being green was a joke (and also yellow objects are unaffected by Green Lantern rings. It doesn't physically harm them).
Anyway; Mal doesn't seem to be the type who could stop himself hating (and thus feeding) Hazama.

well, the yellow part is more of change they did around now. but I admit the joke was pretty clever.
As for the battle, Mal doesn't battle alone. They would lose, but he wouldn't go down that easily.
