I need help coming up with a name for an organization of werewolf hunters in a Dark Fantasy setting. Not sure if it helps, but these people are those who have been bitten by a werewolf, yet didn't die of the infection or turn into werewolves themselves. The hunters instead gain similar powers, such as heightened senses, increased strength and endurance, a slight Healing Factor, and an immunity to disease. Their numbers are slim, as most die of the bite, and of those who survive the bite most turn into werewolves.
If I could also get help with what the hunters are called I would greatly appreciate it.
"Can't make an omelette without breaking some children." -BurI'd go with "Argentum" (Latin for Silver as in Silver Bullets).
I'd also recommend something with the word silver in the title.
I like the idea of having the name pertaining to something silver, but I keep drawing blanks on where to take it. I keep thinking Silver Wardens, but I feel like that might be a wee bit too similar to the Grey Wardens. Then I thought Silver Sentinels, but that sounds like the name of a dorky superhero in spandex rather than an elite group of werewolf hunters.

"Can't make an omelette without breaking some children." -BurWolfsbane perhap?
When I realized Argentum and Silver were linked, my thought went to World of Warcraft where an order of paladins known as the Silver Hand re-formed after being nearly destroyed into the Agent Dawn and, later, the Agent Crusade.
Name wise, Silverblood is my first thought, as it links being bitten and not actually becoming a werewolf.

Going in another direction, perhaps "The Survivors"—referring not only to their having literally survived the bite, but also survived the metaphorical death of turning.
That might even lead into their adopting as their motto the old saying that "What doesn't kill me makes me stronger". This might reference not only their survival of the bite, but also encourage their members to learn from every kill, and to hold that any kill that they walk away from is a good kill.
A modified version, focused instead primarily on their origin, might be: "What didn't kill me made me stronger".

My Games & WritingTrying to come up with good names for sports / sports series to add flavour to a world.
I feel that in this culture fast paced sports would be held to be of more value.
So things like Forumla 1, Basketball, Skiing, Bobsledding, etc. would be held as being more prestiguous than things like Golf or Baseball.
Don't want to just copypasta Earth stuff though.
Ban memesDoes Xhnyregmon (for intended pronunciation, see below) sound like a good alien-sounding name for a race of gynomorphically hermaphroditicnote aliens that have Fantastic Racism against any non-hermaphrodites for being "inherently inferior", and are hell-bent on conquering the rest of the universe and enslaving all non-hermaphroditic races as well as hermaphroditic races that reject their ideology? I derived the name after a long process of anagraming parts or all of xenos ("alien"), herm (short for "hermaphrodite"), and gyne ("female"), and then realizing that the penultimate result was just two letters away from sounding similar to the word "hegemon" (reflecting their supremacist views and status as a Higher-Tech Species).
Pronunciation guide:
- Xh stands in for an alien phoneme that has no direct equivalent in human phonology, but can be roughly approximated to a "fusion" of the phonemes typically associated with the English letters/digraphs k, g, s, j, sh, and z. Given the limitations of human vocalization, pronouncing it as ks, gz, j, z or sh is considered an acceptable compromise.
- y is pronounced like "eye".
Xhahergemon might sound better in my opinion.
I'm looking for a name for a mummy character with a cat motif and was a former servant in his past life.

MIAAssuming you're talking about Ancient Egyptian mummies, Behindthename has a collection of Ancient Egyptian and Egyptian Mythology names. If you need a name from a culture other than Ancient Egypt, that site has a search function that allows to find the names with a certain meaning (and other things).
Spiral out, keep going. If you want suggestions, I suggest using the name Ubaastet as a mummy name.
I need a name for my fantasy creatures,
- A group of Ancient Elemental Spirits who guided humans in the Human World under the guise of deities and formed the Elemental World using the Aether element.
- Names for the Ancient Spirits of Earth (Mayan), Air (Tibetan), Metal (African), Lightning (Native American), Wood (Celtic) and Ice (Norse).
Looking for a name to give to a hypothetical communist pan-Arabist super-state that comprises Iraq, Syria, North Jordannote , Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Algiers that's born from a synthesis of Ba'athism, Nasserism, and other socialist and/or pan-Arabist ideologies/parties/regimes during the Cold War, and would serve as a staunch ally to the Soviet Union in an alternate Cold War than never wound down, and a bitter enemy to the remaining non-communist/socialist Arab states (especially monarchies like Morocco and the Gulf States), Iran (due to the Iran-Iraq War), a United Europe that it still resents for its members' colonial past (completely ignoring that the current governments and most of their respective electorates are genuinely sorry for their predecessors' misdeeds), and a United Kingdom that never gave up its colonial empire and got kicked out of United Europe for it.
Currently, I refer to it as the Jamahiri Federation, short for the long form name of Ittiḥād Duwal al-Jamāhīr al-Arabiyyain Arabic (lit. "Federated States of the Arab Masses") and a tongue-in-cheek reference to the late North African Arab dictator Muammar al-Gaddafi's "Jamāhīrīyah". Does that seem good enough?
How about "Xhnyrgemon"? You could pretend that there's an extremely short "eh" sound where the letter "h" is, FWIW.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I like that name, in fact I should suggest an 'official' English name for it: Great Arabian Confederation.
Now, I need a name for this master plan of Warren Hiedler, my main character during the second half of Theriomorph Chronicles. Basically, its name should sound very innocent and childish, but once you get into the details, it's dark and disturbing.
The main endgame of the master plan is to create a theocratic empire ruled by an Apex Predator (Warren Hiedler) whose role is similar to an Emperor and the Blood Order whose role is a oligarchy. Its main effects include a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by Theriomorphs where the strong rule over the weak, Theriomorphs are unrestrained in their thinking and where there is power play everywhere.
Now back to my name list needs:
- A name for a legendary lost hidden city deep in the island of Borneo, said to be dreamed up by a mad 17th century Portuguese poet.
- A name for a pure afterlife where the shades of Theriomorph ancestors and saints reside. It is described being a land where the Theriomorphs started out, resembling Africa.
- A name for a legendary creature or cryptid that is described as a bipedal, hairless creature similar to an ape by Theriomorphs that lives in forests and mountains. In fact it is actually individuals from surviving human relic population around the world whose culture and intelligence is primitive.
- A name for a spirit race, invisible to most Theriomorphs except with spiritual gifts. They are described as being strange, but friendly and even helpful to Nasrani (Christian) clergy in Maranatha. They live in forests and mountains. Their social structure is similar to Maranatha with social classes, families, clans and royalty.
Jamahiri Arab Federation is the official English name for the country, actually — which annoys some pedants, because it's technically inaccurate as a translation (they would insist it should be "Arab-Jamihiri Federation", with the hyphen being mandatory)note .

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. This was a careless mistake on my part, I'd assumed your federation that your drew up had no official English name. That is because you didn't say about their proper official name on the post you posted.
Anyways, how about the names that I posted?
Up in Useful Notes/ParaguayI keep drawing blanks whenever you post a question for Theriomorph Chronicles. Not enough knowledge about foreign languages or mythology.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.-removed; I gave him a name-

I like to keep my audience riveted. What would be a cute affectionate diminutivenote for a girl named Bruneis?
Ones I have so far are Rooney or Runya.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.bruny, perhaps? sorry if it's not satisfactory but i'm concerned with something.
I seriously need better name for my bug world. Velyria doesn't sound right or invoke a tribal feeling to it.
MIAPersonally I second Rooney. There's just something about it that I like.
I'm just throwing a few things out that I ran through a Name Smasher, but here we go:
- Timor
- Palana
- Ninif
- Ernob
- Kailaris
- Spaxis
- Barrexia
Generally you'll want to go for hard consonants in the name. "Grindy" sounds imo invoke a tribal feel to names.

"Can't make an omelette without breaking some children." -BurDoes anyone know of some good, generic-sounding names for Budgies/Parakeets? Both male and female. I want to give the protagonist's names that people would give Budgies. I can't think of any. I just name my pets random stuff, but I know that's not normal.
Crackers?
It didn't occur to me to search for Latin phrases. And Lumen being Latin makes me feel better about the naming conventions I've chosen being Latin in origin. In Latin Lux Aeterna means "Eternal Light". I'll probably go with that, or a condensed version, like Luxeterna.
