Why a Dysfunction Junction? Well, to judge by the number of cloudcuckoolanders, ditzes, threads where we learn somebody's life sucks (sometimes even a legitimate opinion), and other stuff like this.

I thought I was the Only Sane Man here? Or so I've been told.

"Sane" is a relative term. Least Axe-Crazy, at least.

There was a list of all the troper disorders, but it got lost in the purge.

The whole internet is a Dysfunction Junction.

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.

It just struck me that "Midnight Velvet" is a very effective euphemism for sex in the middle of the night.

And "Nyarly" reminds me of motorbike stunts.

There was a list of all the troper disorders, but it got lost in the purge.

tl;dr version, Over Nine Thousand Aspergers' affected, with a couple emos to round it out.

You people all just realized this now?

I always thought of TV Tropes as a Breakfast Club type place, not a Dysfunction Junction.

[up][up] And The Breakfast Club didn't seem like a Dysfunction Junction to you?

TV Tropes made us a Dysfunction Junction in the first place.

All tropes ultimately come from Real Life. So Real Life should be troped as well.

[up] I was fucked up before I came to TV Tropes. Just made me realize just how.

Then again, I don't really think there's anything wrong with being what I am.

This isn't as ridiculous as it sounds. I have met at least six people with Asperger's and/or other various other conditions on the autism spectrum. Heck, even I have Asperger's. Perhaps there's something fascinating with talking to like-minded people without eye contact...grin

Well, the universe is a Dysfunction Junction. Show me someone who has it together and I'll show you someone who is slightly better than the average at faking it.

This doesn't exactly count as a "Wild" guess.

I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.
