Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world?A track I made myself.
simple asSounds interesting!
DJ Noriken & MC Stone - Challenger
Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world? This, if you're curious. Bear in mind, it sounds a bit muddy and sloppy, but hey ho.
simple asOh, so you're a heavy metal fan. That's.. kind of cool. The track you posted has a kind of... sludge sound to it? I'm not a heavy metal expert, sorry. ^^;; Anyway, thank you for sharing.
What I'm listening to.♫

Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world?I'm not as much of a heavy metal fan as you think I am. I do like it, nonetheless, though mostly the 70s/80s-era stuff.
Anyway, I'm listening to it again, because why not?

simple asThe Yardbirds – "White Summer".

@ Lavisher: Interesting stuff, dude.
Gang of Four - "Not Great Men" (From their classic debut, Entertainment!, which is one of the best Post-Punk albums of all time, IMO. This one totally trashes the old "Great Man" theory of history, and makes it oddly danceable to boot, without ever being anything less than abrasive- in a good way, of course. Love it. )
Eric Ewazen- Shadowcatcher as performed by the American Brass Quintet and Julliard Wind Ensemble. This piece is so amazing, I got to perform it during District Band!
gendo ikari is my fursonaBlondie - "Hanging On The Telephone" (And now for some New Wave. This one's fairly Punk Rock-influenced for them, though a lot of their early work actually kinda had that. Parallel Lines, incidentally, is their best album, as far as I'm concerned. Also, the intro chords in this one sounds like I've heard them someplace else... This merits further thought... )
Oh... okay. ^^;;
Jolly V - Vs Up
Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world?Testament - "Sins Of Omission" (From 1989's Practice What You Preach- one of their best albums, IMO, though you can't go wrong with any of theirs that has Alex Skolnick on guitar... Classic Thrash Metal time. )
Gov't Mule and John Scofield: Birth of the Mule
Rush - Cygnus X-1: Book II: Hemispheres
Flook — "Pod"
@ Mr Matt: Is that off the new album? I've heard it's good, haven't gotten around to listening to it all the way through yet, though...
Killing Joke - "European Super State" (Listening to all of Absolute Dissent right now. Recommended. What can I say, I'm on a KJ binge- over the past few days I've re-listened to almost all of their albums. Except Outside The Gate, which kinda sucks and I don't count, and MMXII, which I'll listen to tomorrow... Anyways, this is tied with "The Raven King" for my favorite song from this album. Damn good stuff... )

Nine Inch Nails - "Head Like A Hole" (Haven't listened to Pretty Hate Machine in a while. Still a classic, though it's definitely not as dark or heavy as most of their later work was. Still, it's a damn good way to start a career. And, of course, this song's catchy as hell and has both a raging chorus and that insanely Ear Worm-y synth bassline... )
Akira Inaba — Starlight Serenade
→Sandra Lang — Shau Ha Ha
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!Led Zeppelin – "The Song Remains the Same".
simple askors k - Gimme a Big Beat (Extended)
Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world?@sharkcrap11: Yeah, it's off Sco-Mule. It's more or less my introduction to the band, actually - just kinda bought it on a whim. I've listened to it a couple times now and liking it so far, though part of me wishes there were a couple faster songs. On which note:
The Gun Club - Preaching the Blues
USAO - Li Mi T
Why were you born in such a cruel, violent world?
The Doors – "The End".
