Huzzah! So what was the solution? Was it blackmail? Please tell me it was blackmail.

I figured out why there's that empty space at the bottom of your avatar gallery. I feel smart now. I hope the mods respond soon.

Apparently my Do not accept other avatars settings kept toggling off for some reason, disabling the share system.

I managed to get it to stop resetting somehow.

My current avatar deserves some explanation. He's a character I literally just invented the other day while I was browsing google images and saw some clip art of anthropomorphic numbers. His name is Terry Two. He works as one of the hosts for a kid's show about maths. He hates the number one, represented by his absurdly talented co-worker William One, because Terry and everything he stands for is Always Second Best to the 'glorious number one.' He's also a giant douche.

The image itself is literally just some clip art that I altered in MS Paint to look more angry. Lazy Artist? You betcha.

How to embed avatar, btw?

Embed? If you mean 'post the avatar as a picture in a forum post', just go into your gallery, right click on the image, select 'view image', and then cut and paste the URL you get.

Incidentally, I couldn't play F.A.N.G. to save my life. But he is Terry's favourite character, I can tell you that much. :V

No, the new uploader is just a dumbass that can't leave uploading avatars well enough alone and has a pathological NEED to resize something.

The only way to get a 100x100 is to upload at a bigger size.

Except that it works perfectly for me. I have no idea why it does that for some people. I think we already established that it's not based on browser, so I have no clue. Inconsistent bugs are the worst.

Happens to me too, can't stand uploading Avatars now, it's a pain in the ass.

I also have suffered from that problem. It is indeed horribly inconsistent too. Some avatars don't get resized like that at all. Others do

So can someone tell me why some members have avatars that are at a weird ratio like while we're 100x100 others are stuck as 100x50?

I ask because I shared one with ~Handsome Rob and it's all... well I wish it was widescreen, but it's more squished then anything else.
